It gets worse! The girl is 3, she was left with her twin brothers who are only 2. The hotel had a service where you drop your kids of at a chreche and they look after them to allow you to dine out but they didn't use it.

Uneducated chavs?

Nope, Doctors - both of them.

Well there would never be any chance of me leaving a child in a hotel room no matter how close the tapas bar was to the room!! On reading BBC news website one of te quotes was "She's obviously been taken as she couldn't have gone out on her own and the shutters had been forced open. So why suddenly does everyone point the finger, what if it wasn't a kidnapper? What if the girl woke up from having a bad dream instead and she being so scared had managed to force the shutters open herself in a scared attempt to try find mummy and daddy and now she is just lost?

"They're a devoted family and love their children to bits. They live for their children." another quotation from BBC news. However it bewilders me how only 1 child was taken, surely if it was kidnap then all of the children would have been taken?

It all just seems a bit sus to me, especially when the police aren't letting anymore info out as of yet, giving the only reason for this is that 'she is a child' Why? Any other country they would have done because they want details and witnesses to come forward whether she is a child or not

If they have enough money for a vacation at a resort then they should have talked to the conceirge or manager. Alot of times in places like that they will arrange for babysitting services with a reliable agency for a customer so that they can go out without the kids. They never should have left the child there without adult supervision wether they were checking on her every 30 minutes or even every 5 minutes. They were juset plain irresponsible.

NO WAY its a silly thing to do isn't it especially when there was someone who could've looked after the poor kids but we all make mistakes + Its there holiday too so why wasn't they having dinner with mum and dad???? And why leave your kids alone in a foreign country anyway? Something don't seem right.

I feel sorry for the parents though who have lost this poor girl they must be heart broken and I hope and pray that she is safely returned soon perhaps she went looking for mummy and daddy and got lost eh?? lets hope shes ok and safe and returned ASAP.

Man thats really sad. It depends on the age of the child and if they are alone or with other kids. In their case, I think they made a big mistake. A toddler can't be left alone, even if you're checking back every 15 or 10 or whatever minutes. A few seconds is all it takes for something bad to happen.
Man that sucks.

Okay that's absolutely insane. Why would anyone do that? I know there are some resorts that have babysitting services and I'm not even sure that I would do that. But to leave the child in a hotel room alone is just plain irresponsible.

I have a 3 year old son an i keep looking at him an thinking what those parents are going through, yes what they have done is wrong but they have paid for it in the highest way, my eldest is 13 an we went to Portugal last year an i would never in a million years leave them alone. you always think it wont happen to me an maybe that's what they thought, you look at the children who died in Greece an that was an accident but what do you call this....

Some people just don't deserve to be parents, when you consider the amount of couples who desperately want kids but can't have them and you get cruel people like this who think this sort of behaviour is OK!! These sort of people should be castrated/sterelised at birth to protect the poor innocent children they may go on to have, I can't understand people like this they are either insane or just don't give a damn

Um no. Sounds very selfish to me.
If you TAKE your kids overseas in the first place then why dump them in a room? They have a right to enjoy themselves not to mention the danger of leaving kids alone in a strange place where they could leave the room, get lost, and never be heard from again. Stupid,

No way, i dont dispute that the parents are not good parents, but the way society is today no 3 year old should be left on thier own anywhere.
