In the southern part of the US it is spring. It came very early this year and most of the trees were completely leafed out. Then we got a hard freeze, colder than ever before that time of year, since the trees we so far a head the cold killed the leafs and blooms. Foresters say we have lost this years acorn crop and pecans and hickory nuts.
Squirrels and deer's diets are mostly acorns during the winter this will be devastating next winter esp. if it's a hard one. Wild life experts are recommending planting food plots for wildlife to help preserve them this winter. They say nothing has happened like this in a 100 years. This is a sign of end times.

I have 5 bird baths myself, & live in the desert in the US.
The converter says that 40 degrees Celsius = 104 degrees Fahrenheit...
In the summer we sometimes get over 117 degrees F. here. Plus, it can be very, very dry heat (though more humid lately). So, I know what it's like having to go out to refill the bird baths several times in the heat of such a day! (;

Wow! atleast someone thinks and cares about animals.....
1) for birds, I think instead of just leaving water on the roof top, it'll evaporate in the heat....so If people can have those small bird houses, they can put water bowl and some grains for them to eat....check the site.
2) for stray dogs....its a mumbai city so...its best if people can leave their roofed garages open.....so they can just be under the roof while the sun is up and owners can let them go after sun down or something....
3) and for crows and pigeons, well.....people can leave bread crumbs and may be biscuits in the balconies in their apartments...that would help...
4) also for plants....make sure to water them atleast three times a day in this heat....For Garden Flower Plants have a sprinkler that sprays water every 3-4 hour.....
5) Don't forget the trees....if there are trees on the streets......people who live near by or have stores near by.....they should take the responsibility of watering it in these hot days.....should be done on daily basis...this would also inturn help the birds and squirrels, butterflies, bees, and other small insects....
Finally....Its every creatures planet, and since we are given the most smartest brain and power, its our responsibility to take care of other creatures......
Now i'm gonna water my plants....bye....
peace........

A member of Hamas can't sneeze without some other member of Hamas or Hezbollah or something blaming it on the Jews. I remember joking with someone about that, and saying that I bet the only big world problem they can't blame on the Jews is the Tsunami of 2004. Then, I googled it. Sure enough, some antisemites blame the tsunami on the Jews. I kid you not. So it's no surprise they blame the crisis on Jews.

good .everyone should follow this.but most importantly we must plant trees to lessen this global warming.
we must do water harvesting on roof tops of houses ,pondsetc.
we must plea the countries like america, canada which are the main contributor to greenhouse effect to stop this.
revolution is necessary in mankind in their thinking.we must adopt love and peace.stop bullfighting and terrorising others.iraq wars should not be repeated
let us make this world full of lovea, no place to terrorism.respect the nature and mother earth.

Friend, I have 2 dogs one inside dog & one outside dog, when it gets too hot & humid here, I put a fan out for my outside dog, In my location it can easily get to 35C, & in the winter it can get down to 15 below C. And in the winter I have a dog electric heater that goes inside the dog house, to keep the dog warm, & it won't burn hay or straw in his doghouse. I just had a stray dog come in, & I have been feeding it

The reason animals live in these conditions is because we put things out for them and they fail to be where they are supposed to be as they flee their natural habitat and then rely on us. Stop trying to help the animals, then they will migrate to where they are supposed to thrive and they will be better off without humans butting in

We have been having severe drought here in Australia too and we have had the severest of water restrictions..However, I made sure there was lots of food and water for all the birds flying by so they could swim and there was lots of shade. I have more birds hanging around in my yard that anyone around me has..I love them.

Hats of for your thinking and I wish you to continue this service. After all we are all the children of nature and we exploited most of the nature for our sophistication. So, atleast some of us can change it for them.
God bless you.

you'd wonder how those animals survived earlier heat waves and ice ages.
