Three reasons.

One is its always good to have someone to blaspheme at.

Two is Its natural to not want to blame the bad things that happen to you on some force that you can't control rather than blaming yourself.

Three Humanity needs something to twiddle its thumbs over before realising life is just pointless.

To you it is a misbelief, To us Christians it is real, God has no beginning nor ending, God is that eternal life we speak of. And if you have eternal life, Yes this body will die, but not the soul. Those without eternal life, when they are cast into the lake of fire they will eventually be destroyed

If he existed in some out-worldly plane, How do we know that Creator God didnt die? None of us has been there to take a look and come back to tell the story with viable proof.

If an everlasting God theory is a possibility, so too is a possibility of a race of people called The Gods...

- after every 4 millennias they go for an election to vote in a new God ( the word God being a title rather than a name )

- or after one God dies, his Crown is passed on to his son/daughter or Divine blood relative who is next in line... in some religions God DOES have a son.

- OR maybe he DID dies after the alleged creation, and all that live on is a faded memory of him, like the Dinosaurs, the Antiquities Magical Beings and much more.

That is a good question. What are you really feeling inside about it. You can doubt, not believe, try to understand and explain away based on human attained knowledge, but the fact remains God lives on. Science explains processes and laws but not everything behind or underneath.....so what is the driving force behind the rules and laws that operate our world.

God has no beginning and no ending as he is the alpha and omega.. He is a living spirit forever..

Rom 9:19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
Rom 9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
Rom 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour.
