Cain's father as some think was not Adam but the serpent, In the book of JUDE it says Enoch was the 7th from Adam. Here is Adam's seed line, #1 Abel #2 Seth # 3 Enos, # 4 Cainan # 5 Mahalaleel # 6Jared # 7 Enoch, so if you try to put Cain as a Son of Adam then you will have to move Enoch down to # 8 Now concerning your question as some have already stated, That Adam & Eve had more childen.

Genesis 4:17 says, "Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch." Who was his wife? It is implied in the biblical text that Cain married one of his sisters. Several facts lead us to this conclusion.
First, it is clear that Adam and Eve had a number of children. Genesis 5:4 says, "After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters." Since Adam and Eve were the first man and woman, and since God had commanded them (and their descendants) to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28), it seems reasonable to conclude that Cain married one of his many sisters. It is also possible that he married a niece or even a grandniece.
One must keep in mind that in the early years of the human race there were no genetic defects that had yet developed as a result of the fall of man. By the time of Abraham, God had not yet declared this kind of marriage to be contrary to His will (see Genesis 20:12). Laws governing incest apparently did not become enacted until the time of Moses (Lev 18:7-17; 20:11,12,14,17,20,21). Hence, there was no prohibition regarding marrying a sister (or niece or grandniece) in the days of Cain.

Inbreeding would not have been a problem until after the flood; which is when disease, sickness, etc was introduced onto Earth. Cain married his sister and Abel was murdered by Cain. But yeah, there wasn't a such thing as inbreeding then because there were no sicknesses or genetic defects yet.

Able WAS NEVER Married as Cain Murdered him, so he Never had a wife OR children. Cain went to the Land of Nod and took a wife there. You can read about this in the first part of Genesis.

Moses wrote the first 5 books of the bible. I believe the bible is the inspired word of God, but that He also calls us co-creators. What Moses wrote would be colored by his own writing style etc.. I think when he told the adam and eve in the garden story, he was doing his best to explain to the people of the time - that God made man etc... I personally feel that Adam then could have been a group of men... Eve could have been a group of women... not that cain and abel married their relatives... just one idea

Cain had a partner after his father Adam was age 130, maybe Cain was age 128, but the population could have been such that he married a sister, a cousin or a niece.

Adam lived like 900 years or so, and you Think that he only had two children? Cain, Seth, etc, and numerous daughters. They chose amongst their sisters. Being direct descendants of Adam, these children inherited a near perfect DNA, so birth defects were not in the picture yet due to interbreeding.

It's called Incest.
According to the Bible, Adam's wife or one of Adam's daughters, must have become Cain's wife.
Nice story for the kids, isn't it?

Adam and Eve had many children. Cain could have married a sister or a close relative. Or God made more people.

Remember, there is mentioned that God created mankind. : )
