I would like to know if there are any laws (in the u.s.) that would offer loop hole so I could keep my dog in an apartment that does not allow dogs. If someone helps me out I will give you the best answer points. Thanks!

Service Dogs, but they have to be certified.

How attached are you to your apartment? Because if the landlord says no then its no... I am so sorry.... if its a well manered dog, small, and not yippy/barky then you could plead with your landlord. Tell him you would be willing to pay a no refundable security deposit and have a petsitter come daily to walk while you are not at home. Thats about the only way other than what everyone else has stated that a "working" dog could be your way out... Maybe see if you can sign it up to be a search and rescue dog? what kind of pooch is it?? well, hope this helps ya out... good luck..smile

you cant you must move or let them evict you and move to another apt complex that allows you to have pets . I know my apt complex does not charge for any dog under 20 pounds . I am moving (sadly) in october due to a job change . The new place is going to charge me a 250.00 pet fee and 10.00 a month and none of that is refundable . I wish I could have found something comparable to what my old complex is but could not . so there is nothing you can do other than move to where pets are allowed . I hope I helped.

Only if a dog is considered a "service dog," which means as in the case of a seeing-eye dog for the blind. Otherwise, landlords can opt to have a no-pet policy. Sorry.

Enjoy your day!

Really no one can help you..if you knew up front that your apt. don't allowed pets then there is nothing you can do. Might as well keep your 10, no one is going to get it lol. Really, when you move into an apt that states no pets that is what they mean.. no pets and there is nothing you can do except move. Sorry

If it's a small dog sneek it in your jacket.
If it's a big dog when you're not home put a notice on the door saying DO NOT DISTURB. And put music on so nobody will hear the dog!!!
