This question is concerning "place" or role in families/society and those that live in the past - or those that attempt to live in someone elses past instead of dealing with the present. It is not geared towards condoning marriage or divorce.

Why would it be any of my business if someone else is getting divorced? If it is my Parent's divorce (which they have been for 15years) no it isnt my business either.

The problem with today's society is that children get dragged into court proceedings and end up in the fight battles between the parents. The child/children of divorced parents need to feel loved, secure, and happy with both parents regardless of the parent's relationships. As long as both parents keep a "civil" relationship, let their children know that they love them and dont drag them into adult matters then all is happy happy joy joy.

What difference does it make? Do you want to know if your future spouse cooked long enough before birth? Why would you care. Marriages and births are public documents and if you have to know for what ever reason look it up. This is not something someone can hide and it is definately something most people could care less about.
