And would he be happy?

For the purpose of this question could we assume that the Garden of Eden existed in the first place, and Adam was the only human, and he still had all his original ribs.

Probably. Adam was made directly while Eve was...cloned. Eve wasn't something created from nothing, but she was created from the existing DNA of Adam. She was made as a helper to man (I don't know if this is true in the animal kingdom. It seems to me that males are inferior to females there). However, there would still be just one man on the planet, all alone, so he couldn't have been happy.

Well, when Mark Twain was asked what Men could become without women, he answered 'Rare, Sir, Mighty Rare'!

Mind you, the Eve story isn't very flattering to women, is it? Especially when you read genesis and realise that god's first idea was that Adam choose a mate from the animals!

I would say, Yes, he would still be in the Garden of Eden, and No, he would not be happy.

"Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy" (2 Nephi 2: 25)

he would be still miserable and Eve still would have been taken from the middle to show that she was his equal, a help mate no-less and no more & we still would be here today blaming still one or the other.
Women were punished in pain at childbirth and men were punished in the weeds that suddenly sprung up suffocating the food that was needed to survivie. (no one was made more dumb, people chose certain paths and now we are paying the price for that)

It had nothing to do with women, surely it has more to do with god letting the devil into Eden. Which has always struck me as a rather dum move.

CGod never intended a man to be alone. Just like woman was never made out of Adamş rib. Men made it up to have control under women. Read what it said in the book"conversations with God" about the subject(am not sure which part1 or 3.)

Do you lack the knowledge to understand the bible? It was in Genesis that woman was created and taken from the ribs of Adam.
Why insist on asking questions like a nonsense question.

Gen 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
Gen 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Gen 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Well, that is a lot of assuming, so I would assume that yes, he would be in the garden of Eden; he might be wondering why his bollocks have swollen to the size of basketballs though.:(

Don't report me, I can't help it:((

Genesis 2:18-20

Adam would probably have chosen amongst those whom God presented in the hopes Adam would find a "help meet".

You have to believe in the whole story - not just a part of it - or none of the story . . .

I don't accept the Eden theory . . . or the superiority of the male gender, as manifested by religious stories.
