Yes you don't HAVE to get up but you lay there, try to go back to bed and you wake up more and more often until you have to get up!

I hate it. It happened to me last night. I had to get up at 3:00am and I was having such a wonderful dream, but had to get up to go to pee. I have been awake since then. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
