If you have sensitive skin it maybe from the detergent or fabric softener that your mom maybe using in the wash. Also it can be from the soap(deodorant soaps are always bad about this)that you maybe bathing with. If I were you I would have your mom wash your clothes(bed clothes ,towels, washcloths, etc)in Tide(make sure it has no additives in it)or any other type of additive free detergent(you may want to try Dreft its a baby detergent but is good for sensitive skin) You may want to also start using Safeguard(this is a good type of soap free of additives)or another type of additive free soap(Dial unscented is good also)true the scented soaps may smell better but that doesn't mean they clean any better(you can use these occasional but say like a bar every 5 to 10 bars of unscented soap stop it if itching comes back)Also if you use Cologne you may want to consider using it occasional(when you put it on do so on clothes not on skin) Also the type of antiperspirant that you are using(scented is not necessary better) I would recommend switching to Degree(unscented)on trying another type of unscented antiperspirant(try and see which works best for you)I would also recommend using Gold Bond medicated powder or cream daily(after baths and during personal hygiene time)if you can't get the Gold Bond powder then there should be a good generic brand type of it(also pure corn starch works well for this)if you use powder use a type that is unscented or has pure corn starch in it or is made of pure corn starch. I also forgot to mention you may want to start usuing Zinc Oxide as a deodarant(if you do so use a little a time and check with a medical professional before you do so) Finally I would say check with a family pharmacist or doctor to ask for futher suggestions and if symptoms continue ask for a refferal to a dermatologist and by all means document what you have and are usuing. Also pay attention to what your body is telling you if you put something on how does it make your skin feel and if you try anything new use a little to see how you will react to it(note on soaps you can also use an organic soap these tend to work well and if it is lightly scented then check and see how you react to it)(Also when usuing any type of antiperspirant check to see if it makes your underarms break out or become red or inflamed)

Dear God some of these answers scare me. First and for most, the simplest thing like other suggested is to have your sheets and clothes washed in a free detergent such as All Free and Clear, Dreft or somethign similar.
If the itching is occuring in the middle of the night, I know this is gross, but it could be scabies. I believe they are active more at night and its a skin, well, bug bascially that is under your skin. YOu need to see a dermatologist to find out.
Either way, you might want to see a dermatologist bc they can do the skin test for allergies and see if its something simpler.
If the skin test is negative and it continues you can see an allergist and get the RAST test for allergies (blood test). While u are at the dermatologist you can ask for a test for Dermatitis Herpetiformis. (DH) is an important associated disorder or complication of celiac disease which is manifested in the form of a skin rash. THis is far more common than ppl realize and if it is that you need to be on a gluten free diet bc u have Celiac Disease.

Best of luck, Amy

Itch is a skin disease caused by impure blood. The best way to purify the blood is to ensure that you void your stools and pass urine in adequate quantities and also perspire so that poisonous humours are expelled from the body. Take an enema daily to clear your bowels, take as much water as you can and spend some time in covering your body with a cold bandage. What your should do in this: spread four blankets on a hard bed or on the floor. Take a cotton bed sheet, dip it in cold water and wring it lightly. Spread the wet sheet over the blankets. Take off your cloths and lie down on the sheet, covering your body with it. Wrap the blankets over your one by one. Within half an hour to an hour you will perspire profusely. Drink some hot water before you wrap yourself in the wet sheet and the process of perspiration will he hastened. After an hour take a cloth bath. Take this treatment thrice in a week. On alternate days, rub your skin with your palms after wetting them with cold water. The pores will open and all the harmful humours will be expelled from the body.

A salt free diet is the best for itch; you can resume salt after you are cured. Take tomatoes and green gram for lunch and bread and green vegetables for dinner. In case green gram is not available, eat germinated gram.

Itching skin may be covered with a light paste of coconut oil and lime juice. That will destroy the germs that cause the itch. Keep away from members of the family, as itch is contagious

If you lips are swelling you are allergic to something. Its a matter of finding out what it is, and eliminating it. Think about if you have changed something recently( new soap/detergent)
You may need to see an allergy specialist who can test you and find out exactly what it going on.
Be careful there are people that can have severe allergic reactions that can interfere with their breathing.
You doctor will probably recommend Benadryl for minor allergic reactions.

Yup, it sounds like an allergy. And certainly you don't know what it is.

It could be the laundry detergent, dander or dust mites, the pet, or even something you ate or drank right before you went to sleep.

See an allergist: There are tests you can get to find out what's causing your reaction.

Good luck!

DO YOU EXPERIENCE IT ALL OVER YOUR BODY OR NEAR YOUR GENITAL AREA?
IF ITS ALL OVER YOUR BODY THEN IT MAY BE DUE TO UNCLEAN BED COVERS OR AN ALLERGY TOWARDS FOOD WHICH IS TAKEN DURING/AFTER DINNER.
IF ITS NEAR YOUR GENITALS/ PUBIC AREA, ENSURE THAT YOU KEEP THEM CLEAN AND TAKE A BATH BEFORE YOU SLEEP IF YOU SWEAT HEAVILY.
