Mat 23:29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
Mat 23:30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
Mat 23:31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
Mat 23:32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
Mat 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
Mat 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
Mat 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

Excellent question!
Here's my two cents on the issue...
From what I've read in scripture, and ignoring all the dogma that the Christian church lays out to make themselves feel better about their own eternity, what I've come to understand is only three individuals will EVER see Hell...The Beast (or Antichrist) the False Prophet (the person who will aid the Antichrist in his rise to power) and Satan himself. That's it. The "Hell" the unrighteous will face is after judgement, the righteous will be taken to cloud level (this is what Christians claim is the "rapture", but it isn't) and the unrighteous left upon the Earth. Then, the Earth will be destroyed instantly with fire and the unrighteous with it. The Earth will be recreated and we will be returned to the Earth to live our eternity.
Now, those who were destroyed will be destroyed completely, meaning literally wiped from existence. They will be as if they were never born. Thus, if it was your loved one, you will not remember they ever existed, thus you will not mourn for them.
The thing I propose to Christians when they try to spout fire and brimstone Hell is this:
Why would God reward Satan? The Christian ideal of Hell is that the unrighteous spend eternity being tormented by Satan and his demons. Why not make him a nice cake as well? Satan getting to spend eternity torturing those souls not even God himself was deity enough to save? I bet he shudders with wicked glee at the mere thought of it. God is not foolish. He also isn't cruel. He only says the unrighteous will not have eternal life, he never says they will suffer for eternity. Thus the being blinked out of existence as opposed to eternal suffering.
I hope this helps you understand a bit more!

Precisely.
That is the whole reason One heaven has come now.
See: http://one-heaven.org the constitution that unites heaven, ends the war and frees all souls in hell.
Of course, this is not what christians and others who make money out of cursing people to hell, who make people fear want. They say they follow Jesus, but they reject everything about him.
They say they follow God, but they refuse to acknowledge the divine compassion and revelation of God.
Their hate is their chains. Their anger is their blindness. Yet neither God, nor Jesus will abandon them. That is the difference.

Look I am not a Bible bashing type of Christian I believe that we all have the same chance for eternal life and it is only a matter of choice,I make mine and you make yours, okay!
Why do people rant and rage about their family members going to Hell? this is simply defeatist and without hope.
It is up to you to bring them to faith by your actions and lifestyle, Make a friend,be a friend, bring that friend to Jesus.
I am tired hearing this cop out from people, and no I don`t mean preach at them but if you live your life in union with Christ others will be more likely to want what you have, but it calls for courage and a strong backbone.

There is a famous painting of Jesus knocking on a door. There is no door knob. The only way for the door to be opened is from within.
Jesus wants all people saved. The invitation is for all. No one is forced. We must choose God from our free will. We must let God into our lives freely.
No one is in hell who did not freely choose to reject God.

you have a good heart. and i understand what you are saying. but have you ever heard the story about the rich man and the poor man?
basically..
a poor man asked a rich man to help him out and the rich man refused telling him no.
and then they died later on.
thing is the poor man was a beleiver and a good man too boot..while the rich man thought he was all that and he was a jerk.
the poor man ended up in heaven and the rich man in hell.
one day the poor man looked down in hell and saw the rich man suffering. The rich man asked for one drop of water to ease his thirst. the poor man feeling sorry for him asked God if he could do just that one thing for the rich man. God said yes. So the poor man gave the rich man a drop of water...but before it could touch the tongue of the rich man it evaporated because hell is so hot...no matter what...he could not help the rich man.

that's equivalent to the Catholic Heroic Act. I study the tale from one saint who did this. on an identical time as all of her alternatives have been for the earnings of the souls in Purgatory, while it replaced into her turn to fulfill Jesus, He took her to Heaven for her splendid act of charity. while it consists of good human beings, the devil will probable constantly lose. i'm hoping besides.

In my opinion hell is eternal, However it does not say those who are sent to hell will be there for eternity. In my opinion I feel that they may be sent there until they wake up and redeem themselves. But only God knows for sure. take care and may God bless you spiritually.

You WILL NOT KNOW if they are in hell. Their memory will be blotted out as if they never existed. God is a Loving God, AND He is NOT going to let us see them IF they do not *make* it to heaven. It is IN the Scriptures what I have said.
