A more immersive experience in audio and visual entertainment.
Currently TV picture quality is drastically improving, however the real breakthrough will be when visual entertainment becomes not only 3D, but interactive 3D. Imagine you're watching Doctor Who and you have to hide from the Daleks!
Internet, TV and communication services will become one and the same, so you could move files, manipulate photos around by hand and watch TV and make a call all from your 3D TV in the comfort of your armchair or wherever.
Think of the the way characters in Minority Report watched video. Think of the Nintendo Wii.
The user will be less passive and more participant. And hopefully it won't mean you have to wear a silly pair of red and green lensed spectacles!

The next big thing is 3D video and audio in the home.
We have see that 3D is capable of being deployed quite inexpensively. As more content is available you will see a shift in the entertainment industry to go after the in home experience. When DVD and Dolby Digital first came out some slated doom for mega plex theaters in favor of home theaters. Consumers wanted to both go to the theater and to recreate the first time experience of seeing a movie.
Advances in home theater design only help a studio when it releases to video a popular movie. If they have a under-performer, home video is a way to recapture lost revenue from a box office bomb and turn it into a video hit (how many people have a Pauly Shore movie in their collection).
Home based 3D high definition with 3D digital sound is the next move. After the video portion is done look for development in channel disbursement. I see a system in the not too distant future with 22.4 channel audio. The capability exists to do this now.
We also have seen the popularity of streaming content rise and it will continue to do so. So as the theater megaplex is improving I see the home entertainment industry following closely.

The next big thing is going to be theater receivers that have media extenders built-in. The new line of receivers are all starting to include Internet ports for streaming music from the Internet or your PC. they also are using it for controlling it thru a web browser. Each industry is trying to win this "media hub" war. Cable wants to have its set top boxes be the hub. Computer industry wants their htpc or home PCs,
when they make it so your receiver can be controlled via any web interface and have the controls accessible within your htpc front-end.....goodbye crestron. everyone will be able to have whole house audio & video.
22.4 audio?? 7.1 has fallen flat with consumers. Consumers have been getting 7.1 recievers and running them 5.1 & using the other 2 channels to power a second zone. Every A/V manufacture is jumping on media distribution and streaming to additional zones, not additional speakers in their already filled TV rooms. The question is what is the NEXT big thing. Not what could be big in the distant future. (bluetooth speakers, 22.4, etc.)

i think th emain thing is going to involve cheaper stuff. Once the decent widescreens hit below £300 or whole media sets get blow 500 then it'll become a household phenomenon in many more homes than it's currently percolated to so far.
Technology wise, I think it's going to be mirror-quality T.V. Sony have already been experimenting with this but the price is to high £2000+ and they're still too small)

Kauffman Stadium is a effective park considering that they have made adjustments to the outfield. I also am keen on AT&T Park because it has the effective view of Mc Covey cove, yet another solid web site at AT&T is Tim Lincecum and the large UNIT (Randy Johnson). i might want to like to visit the Ballpark at Arlington homestead of the Texas Rangers. Arlington Ballpark has a effective classic sense to the park along with the grandstands. I favor i develop into round in the course of the 1990's so i might want to visit Tiger Stadium in Detroit because i'm a Tigers fan and comprehend allot about the heritage on the park and it really is a classic park that could want to favor to nonetheless be status.

I pray for wireless everything! all those wires drive me crazy...
There's the TV,Blender, Satelite & Cable boxes, Telephone, microwave, audi-systems,mobile phone charger (which isn't too bad), PC & laptop wires, etc...
If it was possible to minimise them it'd be great.
