This little guy was about the only thing gobbling, had three hens with him and the tips of his wing feathers all roughed up like he had been strutting. I assumed (key word) that there are no longer any toms in the area. What do you guys think?

Also, beware, the ticks and skeeters are thick already.

Jakes are just the horny stupid youngs guys. There are big Toms out there almost a gurantee. Tom's were waiting to see what dumb young turkey would get his azz shot off.

Hey man there there. That little guy was lucky to be with those hens. There is probly a lot of hens in the aera and the toms are with them.

There are gobblers out there, they are just out looking for hens. Jakes are pretty stupid, and will usually come to a call, and gobblers are sometimes leary, especially if they have been shot at.
