I never do, I've usually been in jobs where calling in sick means my colleagues have to pick up the slack, and since my colleagues are also my friends I don't do that.
If it's all just waiting on your desk for you do fix the next day, then I guess it's not quite as bad. I used to call in sick at school but there I only had myself with it, I had to catch up the work done but I didn't affect the other students, didn't ask for extra explanations in class when I knew I had missed it calling in sick while I really wasn't.

No, but I probably should have. I'm feeling kind of sick, but went to work anyway because I knew it would be a really busy day at work and two people from my department are on vacation, so if I had called in sick one person would have had to handle all the work by herself and she's stressed enough as it is with just the two of us being at work. I can't wait to go home to bed though.

Haven't yet today. I still have 7 hours to think of an excuse. I probably won't though. I work with 3 doctors so I can't claim I'm sick or they'll want to treat me and it's a small town so they know I don't have a family emergency.
