I have always believed that if you have something nice to say you should say it. So if I see a REALLY good looking guy I will tell him so. "I think you are really good-looking." I am a fat, middle-aged woman in a really happy relationship so I am NOT flirting, I am simply paying a compliment. I'm pleased when the guy takes it well, but sometimes he gets embarrassed and then I feel bad!
So, should I continue giving out compliments?

You know what I think. I think all you women should have more courage. If you want to say something, go ahead ! If a guy is all shy and blushes when payed a complement, I'd say that's not much of a guy in the first place. More like a boy. And you shouldn't feel bad at all.

Yes, you should continue giving out compliments. The fact that they are embarrassed has nothing to do with not liking getting compliments. It has to do with the ability to accept compliments without being self conscious.

compliments are great, but telling a stranger that you think he's really good looking could bring trouble. you never know what kind of person he is. i pay many compliments, but to people that i know. you don't know if telling a stranger will offend them and if they'd do something bad to you. i like compliments myself, but coming from some people, it makes me blush too. it's really a weird situation. best advice, just pay compliments to people that you know.

Sure the men like it, but I bet their girlfriends don't! Be careful with your delivery and consider who else may be listening. A innocent compliment could be misinterpreted in the mind of a jealous woman.

its good to give out complimentz itz jus that there are some ppl that cant take it well such as myself. i do appreciate the comments though even though i dont know how to show it
