It's hard to read it all---because it's hard to comprehend how anyone could worship such a homicidal pathological serial killer that the Jews created for their deity.

I read through almost all of the Bible in my teens, admittedly skipping most of the "begats". I'd also read most of the Religion and Mythology and the Science sections of the children's library in Sheffield. Admittedly I can't recall ever seeing anything about Islam in there when I was young. I was a definitely an obsessive little bookworm as a child

I had chosen to become a Christian long before that, (No parental pressure or "brain-washing"). I still study the Bible at home and through my church's housegroups.

No other book is published in as many languages..over 2000, as reported by the United Bible Societies. No other book has such a large circulation..now more than 4 billion copies. Is that not what you would expect of a message from God that is for all mankind?

When I was little, I tried to get into it. The bible is hard reading. It is a turn off. You want to read history and yet it is hard to understand.

I read something else, other books, to satisfy my needs and spirituality. The bible is not the only book that speaks about God.

A few times and usually read and reference daily. I like to keep up on the latest good news. If I want science fiction I read the Congressional Record.

I've read a "great deal" of the Bible with a goal to finishing the whole book.

Maybe all of it except the books like Amos and Habakkuk. Also I've read the entire New Testament in its original Greek (took me about three weeks to learn, very easy language) and I hope to learn Hebrew soon so I can read the Old Testament in its original tongue.

Yes, I have read it all, more than once, and parts of it many times. I love Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, the book of Ruth, the book of Esther, Song of Solomon, Psalms, John, James, Hebrews, and Revelation a lot. But I love it all. I've been a Christian for nearly 18 years.

I've read all of it at least once, and most(?) more than that.
I am a big fan of Romans and Ecclesiastes

I am a Christian - I'd be a hypocrite if I defended the Word without reading it, but I'm a hypocrite anyway.

Maybe a better question is How many people have objectively read the Bible?

Or how many have understood it? You cannot understand the things of God, unless your eyes have been opened by the Spirit of God. "For the things of God are foolishness unto men."

This question gets asked an awful lot.

I've read the whole thing, although not straight through and not in one sitting. I'm an atheist, at least partly because I read the Bible.
