I went to dinner with a girl for the first time recently, who told me she just got out of a 5 year relationship with a guy (it ended it Jan.). She told me how crappy he treated her and how bad of a boyfriend he was. Beyond this, I really enjoyed our conversations and thought she was great, so a week later, we meet up again at a nice lounge (we live in Vegas!) for a drink. As I am driving there, I see her outside her car looking distraught. As I drive up, she leans on the passenger window and says, "OMG, my X is on your left and he just banged on my car window....can I please speak with him for 15 minutes..." (Her reasoning being that they never spoke about being broke up since when it did happen in January, her phone died and they have since spoken to eachother.) In the mean time, I drive to another club to meet with my friends, but she never calls me back. She called the next morning to apologize her brains out and how stupid her decision not to call me back was. What do I do?

sounds like she don't know what she wants. at any rate, rushing into a relationship with someone like her, could be bad for you. she's obviously going to have some kind of feelings for him still because it's not been that long. and if she's breaking a date with you to talk to her ex, that sounds pretty weird to me. hello, he's an ex for a reason and she should want to move on. i don't know very many people who talk about being broke up, that's not normal in my area. ya break up and it's done with. you can choose to remain friends, but typically that's not done. watch out for yourself, there's tons of ladies out there looking for honest guys.

If you really want her as a friend forgive her. And if it happens again and it really bothers you, tell her that you are uncomfortable being in the relationship and end it.

Tell her to give you a call when the drama between her and her boyfriend is over. It may be your car next.

Dump her. She's still hung up over her ex. Probably slept with him that night too! Don't be a doormat. No excuse for what she did.

ask her how she feels and does she consider getting back with this individual. Dont waste to much time and try not to get played.
