Yeah, and its an easy one. One of my forth grade buddies mom made those chocolate-oatmeal no bake cookies. They firm up into a little pile. lol but they rock.

Yep, that happens to me ALL the time!

One that has been on my mind lately is some kind of chocolate torte that is made mainly with flour, chocolate and ground hazelnuts.

I had this at someone's house for Passover and have wondered about it ever since. It is not someone that I would probably be able to get the recipe for, so that makes it really difficult to replicate.

I did ask a question on here a few weeks ago to see if I could find a recipe and there was one that looks like it might be really close. I just haven't had time to try it yet. Hopefully soon...

Like I said, this happens all the time, but at the moment I can't think of any other ones I have been obsessing about -- changes from one day to the next...

Oh, yeah, it happens a lot for me. This is really weird, but I love Bisquick pancakes, but then I moved to Japan and couldn't get Bisquick anymore. I've tried a zillion recipes, and I found two really good ones, but they were nothing like Bisquick. UNTIL -- cue happy ending -- I finally found one that tastes just like Bisquick (but without the transfats and crap!). I made them for the first time yesterday, and I'm really pleased!

(-: Now I'm going to mess them up by trying to add whole wheat or flax seed or something, but that's the way it is -- you find perfection, and you want to improve on it!

Yeah, I love fried ice cream but can never find anywhere that makes it the right way except for this one restaurant that no longer exists. And I guarantee I'm not gonna try to make it.
