Well, i was never the kind of person that would buy a car without looking and test driven first. If you buy a car from ebay, you might run into some bad luck and bad a flood damage car, it'll look great in the pictures and all but what the pictures can't show you are the rust from under the seats and electrical problems. So my advise, is browse and if you like it and the price.....then go to the dealership and check it out some more, although i'm sure the dealership is going to be in some other strate other than yours.

I bought a 1979 vehicle primarily as a hobby project knowing there would be needed repairs and sources for parts. I was right so the car currently sits until I can decide how to resolve a tranny problem. To correct problems one needs to be very knowledgeable since labor is so expensive. To buy without knowing is foolish. My initial cost was $1100 + travel to pick up+ parts....

Yes-my husband had a Toyota shipped from Florida to California. It lasted only about 1 1/2 years then died.
