I started taking lots of Vitamins 2 weeks ago(B-12, B-6, Fish Oil, Calcium, E, etc) and I can't sleep well like I used to. I used to have really good sleep and now I can't sleep deep and wake up after 5 hrs then can't sleep anymore. I stopped taking all these Vitamins yesterday and had a good sleep last night and also was able to take a nice nap this afternoon. So I am assuming that these Vitamins have been affecting my sleep, just need some advices/suggestions from experts, thanks.

those vitamins which you took is actually good, but since you dont sleep well when taking those supplements, i advice you to change the way to take it, in terms of number of portions and when to take it.
for vitamin Bs or B complex, and calcium, you can take them before you sleep. try little portion first like i tab for each. see how the result would go. pls try it out for one week before we jump into conclusion that it doesn't work. if you take i tab each yet still cause you not sleeping well, then cut it into another half. the best time to consume vitamin B and calcium is at 11pm cos its the time when liver rest from 11pm to 1am.
as for others like vit E and fish oil, just take it normally after meal then. if you want to be more cautious on your heart and artilery condition, take them before sleep should help too.

maybe something like aromatherapy can help you too. another reason why you don sleep much is because you are overstressed, stomach still full, environment is not cozy and etc. try to make it a habit to sleep before 12pm and sleep at least 6 -8 hours (recommendable) but not more than 9 hours and less than 4 hours. doing more exercise should help you in sleeping too. light one can do, get some light sweat.and
try to put on some soft music, switch on dim light and have a tidy and clean room would boost ur sleep too. sooner or later , you would enjoy sleeping, hopefully don get overslept and be late to work :-)
good luck

It is not likely that vitamins have anything to do with sleep. But, if you notice that they do impair sleep, either cut back or take them earlier in the day.

it depends on the vitamins that you take. some can really affect your sleep but others can not.
