The apple on the tree sits in the light and dark and gets ripe, is picked and eaten or falls to the ground and is eaten. Either way the apple ripens and disapears. Could you say a few words? Thanks. ~ : )

It seems I am indeed ripening... It is comforting to think of this analogy. It means I can't fail!
Thanks Cosmic.

Ur question made me reflect and the depth to which it took me made me give it a star. *
I've never looked at myself in this way but now when I do, ............. I think I'm still ripening, gathering or rather trying to gather every bit of knowledge that I can get and then when the time comes I'll be ready to be picked or to fall, to give my wisdom to somebody else.
But I don't stop existing as the seed is still there and I too will be there perhaps, waiting for a new begining.
Thanx for making my day with the question.
:)

you've uncovered it to the air. Is it in a plastic bag so as that it would want to't develop into contaminated with the help of insects or different nasty bits? it really is going to ripen contained in the plastic bag swifter than in a paper bag. placed a slice of apple contained in the plastic bag with it and the gas from the apple will hasten the ripening.

No. I am already ripe. No. I AM who I AM just having a physical experience, with all of its sensory perception.
Each moment is its own unique creation, is it not? Is there any moment identical to a past moment
When in action, I AM is asleep. When I am not in action I Am is awake. The only reality to the dream is awareness without thought or judgement, and even then it is not real. It is merely en-joy-ment, except of course when the me is not creating a problem with it.

Just wrote this on the spot...
("the eater" is metaphorical for mankind, of course.)
My life as the Apple...
I dream of being a pear,
but the eater doesn't care.
Life as a fruit is sweet,
but the eater prefers meat.
My taste brings a natural high,
but the eater lacks the zeal to try.
So as I wither and disapear,
the eater does nothing but jeer.

Sometimes I think we are a tree in action producing an apple.(I know that the fruit is in the seed) I can say many words, but mostly I'm wondering, are you a tree of life or a tree of knowledge? Or are you a tree that brings knowledge to life? Either way, we will rest in the shade, but we will not be in the dark. *wink*

Apple is eaten... but seeds are left.
Then the seeds destroy themselves in the mud to give birth to another tree ...which will give more apples
And this cycles goes on... it never had a beginning...nor will be an end to it.
So if see ourselves in seeds... there is end
if we see ourselves as tree..there is end
if we see ourselves as apples , there is still an end
What is in it which takes part in the cycle..but is not destroyed ??
Welll that z me :)
(Dont ask such difficult questions... i m now playing an ignorant child looking at the cosmos with surprise...yr qns force me back to my true self ...LOL)

If the apple is eaten, it blesses and nourishes those who eat it.Consider how many apples are in one seed. If an apple falls to the ground, it's seed is replanted and it multiplies. If its doesn't, it feeds the birds. But it is God who gives seed to the sower, that we might be fruitful and multiply.

If I were an apple I hope I would not have worms or be a rome apple as they taste like styrofoam to me . As I live I grow and hope as long as I live I will continue because to stop growing is to die. Any one for mom and apple pie?

I prefer to stay green. When one is 'ripe' one has reached their full potential. By staying green, there is immeasurable potential to reach for...
