It would be very unlikely. The police could seize your computer as evidence for a case, if needed; this is the more common approach.

Why would we do that again?

Last time we hacked into your computer there wasn't anything interesting to look at. At least keep some raunchy pics on there or something to make it worth our while when we go through all the trouble to get in. There's nothing like spending an hour hacking into some poor shmuck's computer only to find 300 meg of cooking recipes and diary entries. Spice it up a little!

Doesn't matter whether they do or they don't. If you're doing nothing wrong, then who, actually, is the criminal?

The police the police the police.

Listen to you people. Like some sick oh mantra. A bunch of inept near criminals who actually make it impossible to implement actual law and creating an environment of law abiding and mutual respect where a society can fluourish.

Actual effect?

Everybody in everybody else's business, and scared crapless. I doubt there's one honest cop out there or any other law enforcement type.

I got a plan.

Let's all be straight. Isn't that hard to do if you set your mind to it. This way it'll obviate further who the real criminals are.

Police normally dont hack into your computer, your talking more ofFBI and the US Marshalls. The police will seize your computer for evidence to find you guilty of a crime if they feel that there something on it that is illegal.

Will you ever commit a murder? be guilty of terrorism? espionage? Money laundering? Pedaphilia?
If not you probably do not need to worry.
I don't think they will hack your computer if you get a speeding ticket or get a dui.
