I have long straight thin hair. Im thinking about getting a perm, but will that damage my hair alot? Or what else could I do with it because it seems like my hair is plain and boring...

Don't get a perm just 'cause you're bored w/ your hair. If you don't like it - you'll be upset. Been there, done that.

Obviously a perm will cause some damage to your hair. But it sounds like you already know that. Perms aren't the "in" style right now but can be cute on some girls. Right now the hot look is hair that's really layered, texturized, flipped out and has side bangs. It's what I'm wearing and most of Hollywood too! Better than having to live with a perm and its damage too I think.
