I am a realtor and met the girl of my dreams. BTW she is my client. She is an educated, family oriented home girl...religious. I'm providing above the call of duty service to her. We exchange emails most of the topic is not real estate related. Recently I asked her out and she politely rejected me, but gave a clear and detailed reason why she couldnt make it. She even sent me a photo of herself while we were chatting. I didn't ask for the photo, but the subject came up as we were talking about her vacation somewhere.

Should I be proactive and stop making lame excuses on why I want to meet her and just ask her out point blank? Does she like me or just being friendly? She doesnt seem to like to talk on the phone as much as emails, but takes 2-3 days to reply. I don't care how busy you are, but no way it takes that long to reply if you are interested in someone.

Please advise!!!

I'm on a big "Have guts kick." So that is my answer. Have the guts to make the move. Don't risk wondering what would happen the rest of your life. What's the worst thing that could happen? She says no. But, if you don't try, you'll never know. Good luck.

Chances are, she's not catching the hint. She probably thinks you want to be friends and are avid about being one.

Ask her when the next time she is free. She's can't possibly have a schedual that's packed for the rest of her life.
Ask her if she is seeing anyone.
Ask her if she likes (insert your favorite food) and see if she wants to go out and get some.

Alot of the reasons why relationships don't come to head are because people are so busy beating around the bush and being evasive...whats the worst she could say if you asked her out for the real reasons...and told her how you really felt...a big fat NO...ooohhh!!! the pride is wounded...i think you know what Im saying ;)

I think she is not that interested in you because she does not even want to talk to you on the phone and takes a long time before she responds to your email.

it seems like you are a bit too clingy.

this is the perfect, almost foul proof solution. back off a bit. she thinks that you are too easy to get, and it's no fun that way. but don't send confusing signals.

for example, wait for HER to call you. and don't email 24/7. and when you email, ask productive questions. make it so that it's not only you who is talking.

It sounds like she is slightly interested but probably has a boyfriend. Come right out and ask her. Adults don't need to play games.

Yes, just ask her out. If she sent you her picture, she is interested.

She might like you and just really be busy. I think if she liked you she would give you her number or reply to you sooner.

seems to me that she is probably in a relationship and could be just finding some way of entertaining her boredom with her other relationship.
