SensibleChristian......you have a great way of saying things. I was talking to a science teacher a few months back, I told him you believe we evolved from a rock. He said that's crazy, I don't believe life evolved from a rock. So I asked him, where did life come from? He said it came from a one cell amoeba. I asked him where the amoeba came from? He said it came from the primordial soup. I then asked him where the primordial soup came from? He said it rained on the rocks for millions of years.............
Then he stopped talking, and it looked like he was actually thinking. He came to the realization that he does believe life came from a rock.
After that, my belief that God created life sounded sane.

There is plenty of scientific evidence for the creation of man - it is called evolution. I have never came across an Atheist who taught that we evolved from a rock. We evolved from a single cell organism over 4 billion years.
That single cell organism came from the same soup that God did. Christians and the like, say "Well if God doesn't exist where did the big bang come from?", but then turn around and say "God didn't have to come from anywhere, he is omnipresent, omnipotent etc."
and you think that Evolution sounds stupid. You use an argument against an Atheist, which can be applied to religion as well. Maybe the big ball of gas and rock was just always there. If it is good enough for you to use as a reason, then so can I.

Well, first off, not all evolutionists are atheists, most are religious and even Christian.
Second, scientists do not say that life evolved from a rock (that is impossible because a rock is not living).
You may think that evolution is stupid and it could be wrong, and if it found to be, scientists will GLADLY look for a new theory, unlike religious folk who believe some words in an ancient book no matter what is wrong with it . but the beauty is in the application. Scientists are now studying deicer molecules, things that, because of the natural occurring process of evolution might be the cure for cancer and aging.

"The Atheist say there is no scientific evidence for the creation of man."
OK, so where's YOUR scientific proof of creation? A fossilized body of Adam showing no belly button? A fossilized snake that has a voice box?
"Than the Atheists goes ahead, and teaches that all life evolved from a rock. And this they call science!!!!"
Saying that life comes from a rock isn't science, it's stupidity. We came from self-replicating organic chemicals, not rocks, dude.
"Does anyone think the theory of evolution is as stupid as I do?"
Yes, millions of semi-literate creationists out there laugh at evolution out of ignorance. However, people with high IQs who have Ph.D.s in paleontology and anthropology don't think it's stupid at all. And I'd suggest that maybe somebody who has a Ph.D. in paleontology knows a hell of a lot more about science than you do...

There is no theory of evolution. Evolution is a scientific fact. There are theories involving evolution, some being less realistic that others. Just like there are theories about what happened during time periods that the bible does not mention... the life of Jesus between the ages of 12 and 30 for example. You cannot toss out evolution just because someone had a theory involving evolution that was false. Just like you would not throw out the existence of Jesus just because some guy claims Jesus was a college party animal during those 18 mysterious years.

No, and I am a Christian.
I do not think that evolution is completely out of the question. Why? Because God is GOD. He is capable of all things at any given poitn and time. Who are we to say that he "can't" or "didn't"?
Who said that we came out specifically human? Who said that God's image is not CREATIVITY, ORIGINALITY, or even THE CAPACITY for understanding? Most assume that is is automatically a physical statement. That, my friend, is merely an assumption.
Look at all of the things around you. Have you ever been in a Chemistry class? How about a Math class? If you have been in either- you can understand how vastly complicated God made everything to be.
If that doesn't make sense, look at the human body! Tons of organs that have to work perfectly in synch, a brain that contemplates our very existance though waves of electricity firing though out our minds. The ability to create and comprehend above any other creature on the planet.
I think that's enough for me to say "Hey- I not telling God he can't do something."
BTW- It's shameful, yes- I said it, shamefull and WRONG to target other people because they believe something different. Go read more of the Bible- apparently the "Love Thy Brother" hasn't completely sank in yet.

Personal, I feel it is individual choice to believe what they want to believe.
However, I call SOME Christian stupid because they want to SHOVE DOWN TO MY THROAT AND WANTED ME to believe what they say and believe what is written in the bible.
You can think the theory of evolution is as stupid as what you do, it is fine with all of us, I am quite sure of that.

Evolution does not claim that life evolved from a rock; it shows that current species evolved from earlier different ones. Furthermore, evolution is a proven fact (details on request). Every educated person is aware that evolution has been established science for a hundred years, meaning that it gives correct results; what does that say about you?

yes! evolution is stupid. The Bible tells us that God created us in his own image, It does not say we were created from a ape, rock or any other thing. This world is so busy trying to prove the bible is wrong, this is because they are confused theirselvers. If everyone would but a fraction of this effert into serving god just think how this world would be.
