My friend wasn't well and battled depression. One day she wasn't feeling well and had a bad headache, she was admitted to the ER,it was two days later, she dies. The autopsy was done twice to verify her cause of death, and none were confirmed for as it remained mysterious. Would that be 'anuerysm' not sure if the name is spelt right, that can never be detected?

Anyone may know of it?

It probably was a small tumor located in a critical location. To small to locate. Such as the core complex *Center of your brain* going down threw your spinal cord would do the trick.

First of all let me make it clear that a person immediately
dying after a bad head ache (sinister head ache) is due to 'sub-arachnoid hemorrhage'... a dreaded complication arising out of any insult to brain mater or its coverings layers. Its a life threatening situation requiring immediate surgical attention.
considering your question... it could be an 'ANEURYSM'... an abnormally dilated blood vessels , which opened up suddenly resulting in a massive bleeding and subsequently giving rise to the only symptoms of a head ache... but autopsy Wu have suggested it!but surprisingly it didn't. even a sizable tumor causing death Wu have come under the scanner. for me, the conclusion is far evident in the proper autopsy.

First, I am sorry for your loss.

Second, I know of embolisms and aneurysms first hand since the occurrence of them run in my family. They are usually preceded by a severe migraine, but is not thought of as unusual since migraines also run in the family. I have lost 2 great aunts and a second cousin this way. My grandmother lost her second child two weeks before the baby was born (the doctor made her carry the baby until she went into labor on her own after the baby died inutero) due to unknown reasons that followed severe migraine that lasted 3 days.

You should talk to other health care professionals if you are still confused as to how this happens.

If it were an aneurysm, it would have been obvious during the autopsy.
Have they done a tox screen, and gotten the results yet?
It could have also been a cardiac related event, which would be difficult to pinpoint on an autopsy.

If she bled into her head after having been admitted with a headache, that would be the number one thing they'd look for, and enough to kill would be grossly and obviously visible on autopsy.
