there are dissimilar alternatives, yet once you're going to confirm Rome and Venice, how might want to you bypass up Florence on the way between the different 2? Florence has staggering artwork and structure. See Michelangelo's David contained in the Accademia gallery and visit the galleries of the Uffizi and Pitti Palace between the different places. Chruches like the Duomo, Santa Croce and Santa Maria Novella are merely a initiate. Plus some very solid Tuscan nutrition. attempt the Ribollita, Cinghiale or Fiorentina even as you're there. in case you've were given some days, you could really get out into the Tuscan nation-state for a outing. Pisa/Lucca is a short prepare vacation from Florence. yet another probability might want to be to bypass up the coast to Cinque Terre on a thanks to Venice. the trails between the cities have some surprising surroundings searching over the Gulf and the cities themselves are scenic, if touristy.

Take the Eurostar from Venice to Rome. If you are travelling with others I would suggest that you buy your tickets a day in advance if you want to sit together.
I think the words you will need the most are Ciao, pronunciation Chow for hello/goodbye. Grazie pronounced gratziay for thank you. I used them a lot.

Ozzy, I will be in Milan on Sunday morning and planning to go to Venice on Monday. Stay in touch :)
Once I went to Rome from Venice by plane and it took around an hour. But I agree with the first answerer on the train system. It is a kind of slow but great.

1. Take the train! Trains are great in Italy and a common form of travel, unlike the U.S. About 7 hours.
2. Ciao, Grazie, and smile.
Dove? (To ask where)
3. Just chill, slow down and enjoy. Italy is magnificent!

definitely you should take the train, preferably an ES (Eurostar) which is actually the most expensive one but also the cleanest and less noisy one.
