Howard Johnson hotel near Yankee Stadium is very popular. Very clean, great reviews, and great rooms for a low price. The Bronx isnt that bad. There are parts of Manhattan that are far worse than the Yankee Area Stadium. I see tourists walk up and down the streets by the subway near the stadium and locals never bother them.

Are you driving, taking the train, or flying? What is reasonably priced for you? NYC is a very expensive city. A reasonably priced room is around 150 a night. Parking is 30-50 dollars a day in the city. Another answer said to stay in Jersey if you're driving. Thats not a bad idea, they usually have free parking at Jersey hotels. I wouldnt stay anywhere near the stadium. Its just not a good area. Well, have fun.

Don't stay by the stadium. Stay by a subway
From Hotel Hotsheet New in NYC: A room with a kitchen

Anyone who has stayed in tourist-magnet Manhattan lately will say you're lucky to find availability on the day you want, that it can be hard to find a nice room for less than $200 and that you can easily pay $500 a night for small digs at a luxe property.

Today, there's a new entry on the luxury scene. AKA, a fast-growing extended-stay brand, opens the AKA Central Park, its third and largest property in New York City.

The 17-story former Wyndham New York has been transformed into 134 studio, one- and two-bedroom suites that start at $395 a night for a stay of less than a week, $255 nightly for month-plus stays. All suites feature stone-floored foyers, upscale kitchens with stainless-steel appliances and granite countertops, large bathrooms and sleek modern firnishings. Two penthouse suites have wrap-around terraces.

A room with kitchen near Central Park is worth checking out. Now, let's hear Hotsheeters' picks for non-pricey lodging in New York. I've stayed at the Casablanca Hotel near Times Square (small rooms, but friendly and breakfast included) and a friend of mine is headed to my late father's favorite budget perennial, the Park Central. My colleague Gene Sloan wrote about new, hip entries that won't eat your wallet.

The neighborhood around Yankee Stadium is kind of dangerous.

Best Bet : Find a hotel somewhere convenient to the B, D, or 4 subway lines.

i would not recommend staying the bronx near the stadium, its not a fun area to be in, get a hotel uptown on the west side (around colombus circle) and then take a cab or train to yankee stadium, its very direct if u take the subway. go to hotels.com and look up rates and prices, dont stay in anything thats less than 4 star bc it will be a crap hole.

Very crowded and interesting. there is not in any respect a useless second in NYC. it really is the city that not in any respect sleeps. once you're searching to take excitement on your college years and continually be busy and characteristic events, it really is unquestionably the position to bypass. it is also very expensive to stay there, so keep up!

If you are driving stay in ft lee nj and drive to the game.or stay in weehawken at the sheraton suites and take the ferry to the game. If you are flying in stay somewhere in midtown and take the subway to the game. Check the chain hotels and see what the room rates are.

Trust me, you do not want to stay in any hotel anywhere near Yankee stadium.
The neighborhood is very dangerous.
