Are there any instances where someone has actually gone blind from either masturbating or looking at porn? If so, please let me know.
Also, I heard that Sheikh Omar Abdur-Rahmen (a.k.a. The Blind Sheikh) when blind from masturbating, but then he found religion later on. Has anyone else heard about this?

BTW, I do not masturbate for religious reasons. I never have had anyone tell me this before before, but I know people who have been told this by Nuns is Catholic school.

There is some anecdotal evidence (from individuals affected) that masturbation could lead to curvature of the penis and/or Peyronie's Disease (curvature of the penis with plaque or fibrosis).

no one has ever gone blind from masterbation. Some times an orgasum can make you see spots, but they are always temporary. It isen't a sin to masterbate, only to fornicate, so if masterbateing helps you not have sex then you should do it. it also has other usefull benifits like makeing you more fertile. The only thing that could go wrong is if you don't use lube and masterbate for hours, then you might be alittle sore. I woulden't worie about it and I woulden't lissten to people who make up storys in order to make you belive the way that they do. independent investigation of the truth is an important part of speritual development. So please go ahead and masterbate, its a wonderfull stress reliver.
