does anyone know how larger you can blow up a print before it gets grainy looking and $$$ i'm talking canadian money

With 7.2 megapixels you can make fantastic full page prints. With larger sizes you won't have quite enough detail. Even so, I have used an 8 magepixel camera to make posters. Those looked fine from about a meter away - which is about as close as you'd normally view a poster - but when you moved in closer, they started to look slightly soft. (With these sizes, they calculate in-between pixels to avoid that grainy, pixelized look.)
As for prices, you'll have to shop around. Full page prints will cost maybe 2 dollars but larger sizes can get very expensive.
