You keep your mouth shut and teach by the example of your life and actions.

First pray for opportunities and boldness when those opportunities arrive.

You could invite them to youth group or youth events.

I would ask them if they have ever been to church, or if they have read the bible (to see what they know already.)

You can mention to them in conversation something you may have learned at church or while reading the bible.

The best thing to do is to be a good listener. Be ready to hear any questions that your classmates might have, then know where to find the answers in the bible.

Keep working on this project, even when the "project" is over.

Hope this helps.

I just went &came back frm a bible camp about this same subject..the truth is even if u feel shy about what yur classmates may feel when u speak abt God 2 them ...think of what our lord Jesus might hav felt when he preached abt his Father 2 thousands of oppressing jews..iagree tht He was a divine being..but believe what all difficulties he had 2 face at the hands of the jews...

Christianity is not a religion..it is a mission..the question is not whether u r shy or not but whether u r willing 2 take up the struggle 2 spread the word of our Lord

Live as one devoted to God would live. In that I don't mean wielding a holy text and thumping everyone with scathing words and caustic attitudes.

What I mean is, ( if you are Christian ) ... Live as Christ had lived, he lived a life devoted to helping others, showing comfort and kindness, and exercising limitless love and patience for those who were against him and even those that betrayed him...

People who see such a person, would inevitably want to know, what is it that makes this person above the ordinary... and if such a moment happens, you have already shared the very essence of God without the need for one word... Printed or Spoken... no preaching at all... just sharing God by living example.

eg. Mother Teresa has not been known to preach and convert others... but she was against abortion though... but other than that, she inspired millions without being "preachy" about it.

Gandhi too... lived his life as an example of his beliefs... Non-violence and Peace.

Live the life. Show that you are a Christian by your love for others. Don't speak unkindly about anyone. Give attention to someone who is not popular. Your attitude of love and kindness is how others know that you love God. Someone will eventually ask or it will come up in your conversations. Be ready to give your testamony. Stand up for Jesus. God bless.

If someone has a problem (somewhat serious problem of course), you could suggest that they fast or pray about the problem...that will most likely start a conversation about God. Be prepared to answer to smart remarks though...some people are sensitive about the subject.

By honestly sharing your experience, strenght and hope.
St Augustine said "Preach the Gospel at all times. And use words if necessary."

Make it very personal. Tell them your own experience, what God means to you , what he has done to you etc. Has he heard your prayers? Let them know. This will not offend, like preaching would.

You teach by example. By that I mean, that how you live and how you treat others speaks VOLUMES about your beliefs and practices. And you may not have to ever say anything, because people will know by your life that you love God.

Don't. Telling them about your beliefs is preaching to them unless they ask.

How would you like it if someone started to preach their god on you?
