I have a boyfriend but I flirt with a guy online.... is this cheating?

It's not cheating, but it's not really appropriate. If you hide it from your man then you probably shouldn't be doing it. Would you want him to flirt with a girl online or in person? I wouldn't tell him about it, but if he could possibly find out and you care about him then stop doing it. It is best not to engage in tempting behaviors! A long time ago, I fooled myself into thinking I was just friends with someone who liked flirting with me (I was married) he lent a shoulder for me to cry on, and made me feel good by flirting with me...long story short I ended up cheating. I was adamant that I would not cheat on my husband and that we were just friends...if I had've listened to my mom and not been in a tempting situation nothing would have happened. So, don't tempt yourself...just ask your man to give you what you are missing.

All that really matters is if your boyfriend would consider it cheating.
I wouldn't consider it 'cheating' if my boyfriend did it, but I would still break up with him over it.
I don't think that what you're doing is right. You shouldn't need to flirt with guys online if you have a boyfriend.

How do you feel when your online with this guy ? Does it make you feel like your cheating ? That will answer your question.

does he know about it? if not and you think it's harmless then why don't you tell him. if your guy doesn't like it and you want to keep your relationship then i suggest that you stop. would you like it if he did the same thing?
