I actually don't think so.
I think the time for this brand of racial hatred has almost passed!More people by the day are opening their eyes to what for so long has hidden in the dark, because of christianity. Most are going back to the old ways.
Blessed Be!

I could see Christianity going the way of Greek Mythology and all of the other forgotten religions of the world. The problem is that human nature needs some vessel of faith to believe in, so even when Christianity dies out, there will be another religion waiting to take it's place.
Hell, in 300 years the most popular faith might be that rocks are the eternal representatives of the Earth, and they are revered and apologized to.
Of course, you always have the South Park possibility, where all religions are wiped out and Science is the new religion.

Escapism From the reality? What reality are you refering to? We don't have to go into the concept of reality to know that religion is a farce. The reality of the matter is that religion, monotheistic religion for instance is based on faith and is therfore lacking proof and relys on a "feeling" that it is true. This is not to say that religion has no purpose. Religion is a good tool for humans to use when they don't have the motivation to think and live their lives for themselves or when they are feeling very bad about life and they need somthing outside of themselves to boost them up. The bad thing about religion is that it makes people debase themselves as "horrible sinners" and not worthy of their own minds. The christian religion for one example most likley will not survive for much longer ( I say this assuming that the world will survive christianitys struggle with Islam) than a few hundred more years. People are smarter than they used to be as far as matters of philosophy are concerned, althoe we havent had many well known public philosophers speaking out about religion since Russell, we do have a growing secular society and they are being educated by great thinkers in our time such as Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins and Dan Dennitt. People are really starting to wake up and see just what is going on with the lies of religion. Mabyee in the next 50 years or so we will all wake up to the damage that religion has and is doing to the world. The terrorism and religious wars that we are living thrue now, along with the obvious crimes of greed that the big governments of the world are commiting under the guise of religious faith may finally get thrue to the minds of the opressed religious sheep. ( I keep dreaming and hoping that mankind is smarter than they really are, this is my faith)
Anyhow I really hope that religion can fix itself but I don't think it will happen.

Almost all man made religions are destined to have a shorter span of life only. There is nothing wrong in Christ or his teachings. He has spoken the truth, which ofcourse several saints in the East have done so from time immemorial. But His(Jesus's) teachings are not followed in toto by many today. If any religion tries to behave like a commercial establishment and is interested only in the numbers base, then it is doomed to meet with failure gradually. The one problem which is generally observed in christianity is that their prime interest is in Conversions only. Even in the third world regions, where conversions of the poor and gullible used to be the norm earlier, is finding itself in opposition today. If Christianity is followed strictly as per Jesus's teachings of Love, Compassion, Forgiveness and Sacrifice, it is certain to last for ever.

Christianity is not like a Government which we think may survive or not. It is a faith developed by no less a personality than Jesus Christ.

The problem actually is our survival without the religion, be it Christianity or any other.

Religion is for the individual. It is not for getting more votaries. So we need to worry about ourselves than to worry about the whole world.

Relax man, relax!

Christianity is not just faith based, and it will most definitely survive. God said "I Am Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and The End." As long as there is a God, there will be Christians who will follow Him.

So, Since there has always been and always will be a God, I don't think you'll live long enough to see Christianity end.

Peace Be With You!

I pray to Aliens daily that it doesnt survive the next week. I hope the Green Men come down to earth and crush those evil Christian folk.

thats what i hear when Christians talk about their religion, actually thats what i hear when anyone talks about any form of organized relgiion.

And i cant be the only one, with science prevaliling ... if we keep going in the direction that we are headed , sooner or later all religions will change or become absolete. But a century might not be enough time.

I believe that this world will not last into the next century. Of course, Christianity would last if it did. To me, it looks as though the time is coming when there will be definite decisions for or against Jesus. It's happening now. Then He will come

Present form of Christianity will survive till the advent of Hazrat Eesa (alaihisalaam) i.e. Jesus Christ. Then they will know the real truth as to which is the true religion which even he brought and which is corrupted now.

Due to the fact that it's been growing rapidly for the past many centuries, it certainly will continue to grow...

The only religion that may run into extinction is atheism.. since it offers no conclusion or answer to anything.. again atheists do not convert or look for followers like christians and therefore barely grows..
