Faith is when you trust that God will make something GREAT happen that you want desparately to happen.

Luck is when something GREAT happens that you weren't expecting or even thinking about.

Both of these terms in mathematics are called PROBABILITY and RANDOMNESS. Since the LIFE on earth is a result of a probabilistic conditions present at that period, i think, it is the probability which is the driving force in explaining all the things in our lives. Non-scientific people use that term for faith or luck.. Both are one and the same.. So, think about it for a while and you will understand the deeper meaning of what i was talking here...

If you are interested in this topic, search for a book called ORDER FROM CHAOS and read it.. It is very interesting.

Good Luck..

I believe there is such a thing called "luck" and we all know people who are just overflowing with it--you know them- it seems like they stepped in lucky **** every day of their life--they win prizes all the time, little lottery ticket money, get the free trip to wherever, and of course, never get a speeding ticket and they never do the speed limit!! WHAT they have that I don't have is not faith, because that's a belief in a higher power controlling your destiny and I do not believe that is so, I believe we all are accountable and are "mostly" in control of our own destiny- except there are variables in our "choices" that change the outcomes in our lives. Lucky people do not dwell on being lucky or unlucky, they truly buy tickets believing they will win- and they do---so I guess cynical people, like myself, jinx ourselves because of our negative thoughts regarding the subject.

Faith! Luck has NOTHING to do with it. Yea, it's common to say "wow I'm lucky" but I've tried to make sure I give God proper credit where credit is do because a lot of the time it's divine intervention, not "luck". I don't consider it that I have so much luck in my life as much as that I've been blessed.

Aren't the two kind of separate? Faith is belief without evidence. Luck is an unlikely occurrence.

Faith is confidence in that which you believe to "exists" while luck has no belief or need for faith for it randomly occurs.....

I believe in faith. Generally, there's no such thing as luck. Luck as we call it is like God's will, not our luck

I believe in magic.
In a young girls heart
How the music can free her
whenever it starts

And it's magic
if the music is groovy
It makes you feel happy like an old time movie...
