They have a promotion where they sell hog hunts for $1 from June 1st until November 1st. It allows a hunter to harvest 2 bobcat, 2 coyote, 2 varmints ( possum, gopher, rabbit, armadillo, ringtail cat, racoon ) and unlimited hogs!
3 day/2 night hog hunt $1.00
Meals, Guide and Lodging $225.00
Kill fee for each hog $50
____________________
Total $226.00 per hunter plus $50 per hog
If you can find a better deal, please let me know.
Also, the staff are very nice people. They give free hunts to church groups, non-profit organizations, the disabled, and terminally ill patients. These guys really are great.

Check some of the exotic game ranches in Texas.
An acquaintance of mine is putting together a hunt this summer on a game ranch and he posted the following price and trophy list:
"A high estimate but, no charge for hogs = $0
A water buffalo, say around = $1200
A trophy (EBR) blackbuck around = $1000
Lodging = $0
Total $2200 all included except your $45 TX exotic license. The taxidermist will come out and take care of everything if you want and I will take the stuff to the meat processor too if you wish.
The blackbuck prices have been fluctuating. The $ would depend on if it was born and raised free on the ranch or if I buy and release one this spring. The most we have charged is $1200 for a good 'un.
Water buffalo are cheaper than blackbuck! I have been able to offer them as low as $800. You might also pick a bison, yak or longhorn for a little less than the water buffalo."
Bear in mind, this is a hunt put together for a group of friends. Prices for the general public might vary. If you are interested, you can check out the whole thread at: http://leverguns.sixgunner.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=29034

FWIW, I think your husband is a pretty lucky fellow to have a wife who wants to give him a dream hunt for a birthday gift.

If your husband has been making things work between the two of you. You should give your husband some time for himself. One week vs the rest of your lives. Men have hobbies at least his hobby is one that can bring food on the table. Be thank ful he is not going to strip bars, clubs and other unspeakable things. Just give him the time with the boys. It sounds like he is doing every thing to make you happy. Can't you give a little happiness in return? love is a two way streek. Just one week thats alls he wants. So give it to him and plan a weekend for your self as well. Have your inlaws watch the kidds and have some fun as well. It will do you both good.
