This is about a 1 1/2-2gal oil can which had the markings MOPA RR. It seems to be quite old but is very good condition. I was told it was a antique and worth more than I expected.

Missouri Pacific Railroad, aka MoPac. Has been absorbed by the UP.

A collector may be very interested. Beyond being an antique, it bears the marks of a now extinct railroad, which can add to its worth.

Post on e-bay and see what kind of nibbles you get.........

I second Hogheads answer. When I started, friction bearing trucks were on the way out. Nevertheless, there were some in the yard every night. Me, being the new guy, guess who had to get the can, fill it up (over and over) and walk down the line lifting lids and filling them up. Damn dirty job.
