I used to love spiders as a kid, but I finally accepted tonight - as I first put a shoe on the end of a broom to kill a spider many feet away from me, and then used the same broom to kill a spider in the corner by attaching a Q-tip to the end with a hair tie - that I have a problem, and maybe even arachnaphobia. I hate spiders, if I've seen one in the last few minutes I feel like they are crawling all over me and I shake and flip out for a while or I get itchy. If one comes on tv I have to look away and close my eyes and plug my ears. If they are on the wall I can barely stand to kill them but I will kill them if they are too close or if they are in my son's room.

If you can get within broom's length to kill one, it's not arachnaphobia. I can't even be i the same room with them. Sometimes, fear of an object, especially FEAR of an object that you THINK might be there, is actually a different fear you have that you are projecting on the spiders. THink about what you might REALLY be afraid of, and why you are hiding it behind spiders.

Spiders not bother me. But, when my Sister had a pet shop years ago, she sold Tarantulas. My mom could pick them up and show to people. I just never could pick one up. AND, I can honestly say today, I been bit by about every pet a person can have, including snakes, but, I never been bit by a Tarantula. :-p

I like spiders --- although not so much that I want a bunch in my living area.

Spiders are industrious little creatures, and they keep other bugs away. I like to watch them weave their webs.

What exactly are you asking? Or are you just making a statement? I'm not really scared of them unless they freaking huge or creepy looking. Even then I would find a way to catch it and look at it ha ha ha
