Went for a hair cut at a good reputable salon.I had beautiful long copper blonde colored hair & expected to come out looking better than I came in.Boy am I disappointed will probably cry myself to sleep what can I do .I specifically asked for a long layered look with long bangs whispped to the side. We had a live model there for her to copy from. My hair is cut below the ear on both sides now& cut straight across shoulder length in the back. It flips up & the layers are not nice at all don't flow into each other at all & one side is a bit longer than the other. She back combed & hair sprayed hair into place even while I was telling her that wasn't really what I wanted it didn't look at all like I had asked. All the hair dressers said how cute it was except for my friend that was there with me .Whats the sense in my complaining she's not doing my hair again & it would only make her feel bad if I said something so I bit my tongue .Paid & left I'm fit to be tied....

I've paid & tipped for a bad hair cut. It was traumatic.

Like the others said, talk to the owner or manager of the salon. Be prepared & know what you want (i.e. a refund or a cut w/ a different stylist or some hair products, etc.) You're right about not letting that same hair dresser near your hair again.

The safest thing to do is probably just to have the ends trimmed as little as possible to even things out and minimize the damage.

You definately shouldnt have paid, if u told her that you didnt like it and she went ahead styling or didnt offer to fix it somehow then she deserves to feel bad lol. Iv had a few bad experiences with hair cuts, u can always go to another salon and have them try and show you a way to style it so that it looks better, or just wear it up for awhile, it will grow out faster then u think dont worry.

You should go back and just say your not happy, I wouldnt have paid if you brought a live model and it didnt look anything like it!!! Talk to the manager and get your money back or another free cut to fix it, but not by the same lady, usually the Head Stylist does the fix ups anyway!!!

Call the salon tomorrow and ask for the owner...tell her your experience, don't let them walk all over you....if you are under 18, they can get in trouble for cutting your hair with out your parent there, have mom call and have a fit...if the the owner won't help tell them you are contacting the state attorney generals office to file a complaint as well as better business bureau, and really do it....you can do it on line. Trust me...your states attorneys generals office will straighten them out and fast...only did it once, and boy I got results! Your hair will grow...I know it sucks, but it will grow...good luck!

i don't know what your modles hair was but not every one can't where the same hair style as another . I think next time you should look at some hair books and if they have aface that is shaped like yours and hair texture like yours go for that time of style. for now if you wash your hair and it still don't look close to what you wanted then go in they will fix it for you i"m sure , dont worrie . they really rather do that for you if they are a good salon. good luck

Hey!!
Yah..I know that feeling..and it sucks..But maybe some time to adjust will help..Wash your hair.. then restyle it.. If you still don't like it when you get used to the change..Try going somwhere else and tell them specifically what happend..tell them that if they can't do igsactly how you asked this time that you don't want it done..They will understand..There people too... Good job on keeping your cool..That takes a strong person to do that...
Good luck hun!

Hey don't fell bad if you don't like it,then look for another hair style and cut it, maybe it will be shorter but it will look hot !you know summer is coming. besides us girls have to change our looks onece in a while so that we don't look boring- but really it only count what we fell and think about our selves.

You should not have paid...you did not get the services you asked for so why should you pay? Obviously they aren't really as good a salon as you heard...I'm sorry, go somewhere else and see if they can fix it...

Okay, first of all, I get you girl. I got the happy trail and that...other thing which I can't bear to type. Next, Veet is great for legs. Any kind works. Just slap it on, go in the shower with a washcloth, and remooooooove. The hair'll grow back just the same color and blahdeeblah. If your hair looks darker when growing back, it's just your mind. (When you shave, you're legs look pale, right? Well that's because of the absence of the hair. When it finally grows back, you sorta forget what color it was and think it's darker because they look like little stubs of color.) Never use Nair if you have sensitive skin. It burns like HELL. At least for me it does. Oh the happy trail (AKA stomach hair), I suggest you tweeze. Shaving it works, but you can still see the rest of the hair under you skin. (Since the belly skin is kinda translucent.) Hope this helps a bit.

I would have done the same thing to be honest...but it would have been better to say that you did NOT like it (before paying) and having maybe someone else there fix it...
