My boyfriend is not really a phone person and he informed me that he doesn't call multiple times a day. I am ok with that and so he called once or twice a day. Right now, the last time I heard from him by phone was Monday night. I chat online with him but dialogue is brief because he's watching the basketball playoffs. Last night I told him I missed hearing his voice and he said it's because he's watching the playoffs. We are vacationing tomorrow. What do you guys think is going on?

I think unless he has giving you reason not to trust him in the past, you need to trust him. Time apart is good and healthy for a relationship. Don't be too clingy because that will only push him away.

I wouldn't get alarmed, in most cases this is completely normal. I've been in a relationship for three years and my boyfriend hates the phone. I just got off the phone with him for the first time this week and the conversation lasted under 6 minutes. We email a lot in the place of a phone. When the NFL draft was on, we didn't talk at all that weekend. My mom bought me a book on dating when I was in high school and one of the only things I got out of it was guys do not like to be on the phone and not to push them. Kepp conversatins under 20 minutes when on the phone. Funny because I could talk for hours or sit in silence. Do not be scared though. He just isn't voicterous. If, however, you do think something is up.. follow your heart. It knows what it needs.

read the book "he's just not that into you" and you'll learn. If sports are more important than a person to him then why would u want to waste your time. Find someone that wants you and you are their first priority. So many choices out there, why settle? You can't change people. If you're happy the way things are then be with this guy, but if not then find someone you want to be with. If you have to ask this question then he is obviously not satisfying you.

Don't push him too much. Guys are not as verbally communicative as women. I'm in just about the same situation but on the the male side. I don't like being on the phone much and I'll use IM as a substitute. Sometimes not being on the phone is nice.

Either he really likes basketball, he's really thoughtless, or he's not that into you.
Tell him you feel the need to hear his voice, because talking
[ not writing on line or emails ] is one of your love languages.
He could call you at lunch or before playoffs come on. A little consideration goes a long way.
Ask him what you can do for him.

Think positive...she loves you...he needs time for himself, so as you...give each other time to rest and enjoy life!!! After that you'll miss each other...and I'm so sure your love will be stronger than ever...

There might be something he's keeping from you but he doesn't want to blert it out.Keep things simple and drop little clue until he says what's on his mind.

No reason to get alarmed, most men don't call much but it's not a slight on you.
