You are not making sense to me. Are you saying a church leader's child is guilty of molestation? Or is it the other way around? A church leader's child was molested? And your question is: How would you handle it? Is English your second language? Please clarify your question.
Peace and every blessing!

I think as a supportive family member. After all the child is still his child.

As it happens I know of an instance just like this. The father always felt he could happily shoot any child molester. ( I know not very Christian, but it's how he felt not necessarily how he would act.)

Then his own son was charged with inappropriate touching of his niece.

It's a terrible thing to have happen in a family. And leaves all members hurting.

James 1:5-6

A child? That's tough. Be as honest as possible. Man, that has got to be hard.

I'm not excusing the action of the accused, but remember forgiveness is possible... and it doesn't make the kid a monster. Love the child, and do everything that needs to happen for the kid to truly be changed.

It would be hard for him, but I would expect him to treat his child the same as he would treat anyone else. I also hope he'd take the attitude of he needs help, and the best way to get it is to turn him over to the authorities.

Like any Christian parent. You cry and scream and pray and then do it again. Eventually, if your faith is strong you will put it in God's Hands and His Will Be Done. Pray for strength and courage.
