with such disgust and hatred. I know I am not the only one who sees this going on. Who are we to judge others so quickly?

Luke 15:4: Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?

Schneb.... The definition of Christian is one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ.
So how does my earlier questions make me a Non-Christian?
You only add support for my question. Thanks!

I can't answer about the mutual masterbation. Why don't you talk to your minister about it? I do think you should be able to afford some kind of wedding. No engagement ring, a simple gold band for a wedding ring. She could wear a nice dress that she could buy for $100 or less, just an ordinary dress, not a wedding dress. (Maybe try a consignment shop.) Or even a dress that she already owns. After the wedding, have a simple reception with punch, light snacks, and a simple cake, maybe homemade or a bakery cake that is not a wedding cake. I wish you could get married soon rather than going through all this conflict.

Well I think the Christians that are not worldly, but Godly really are shocked many times when we see what the world is doing. We are called to be different from it and to NOT have a part in the evil things it does.

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. -Romans 12:9

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. -2 Corinthians 10:5

Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. -James 4:4

You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord's table and the table of demons. -1 Corinthians 10:21

I understand what you are saying and you are right the verse you are quoting has to do with a believers and non believers some Christians do not always get that. I will guarantee you will gain so much more showing love over meanness or discourtesy. sometimes by living the example Christ showed us makes people look at us and ask how do I get what you have how can I be happy like you. not to say they are not already happy. example opens up many doors where judgment and words like you are hell bound close so many. Christ taught love is the greatest.

honestly..don't pity me. Pray for yourself, you need it more.

I see that a lot to. True it's not all Christians and if you're offend by what this guy has said maybe you need to be.

It's because it's easy to look down on people then to understand them. It could be due to fear or just because they don't care enough. I can't speak for most people, but I know why some people who claim to be Christian look down on me. I don't believe what they do so that makes me wrong in all shapes and forms. They don't want to listen to what I have to say because it's wrong because it's not what the bible say or blah, which is they're primary belief.

I love the Methodist. Some of them are open minded.

I'm not saying Christians are wrong, some just aren't open minded enough to see other things in the world and if it works for them then really why worry about it? Let them be that way.

I know what you mean, people are quick to judge and lose sight of the fact that we are human too. I believe that we have the right to point out something in the Bible that people are doing wrong, just as they have all the right in the world to tell me I'm doing something that goes against the Bible. But outside the Bible when emotions get involved that is where the hatred creeps in and we soon lose sight of God and are bent on pointing out what people do wrong.

"It is easier to see a splinter in someone elses eye, rather than a plank in yours."

We should all watch out for each other and kindly tell our brothers and sisters in Christ, when they do something that the Bible says not too, but never hate.

Those are my thoughts.

I agree with you, although in "real life' I have never met a Christian who looked upon others with disgust or hatred. They may have disliked a persons choices, but not the person.
On here however I have seen EVER type of person fling insults and nasty remarks to others.

Yeah....Judge not, that in the same manner ye not be judged....
Get the 2x4 out of your own eye before trying to remove the splinter from your neighbor's eye....
All that good stuff.
Either way, Christian or not, everyone on here's human....at least I think so - some are questionable....

Oh really? What makes you think YOU are a Christian? I certainly do not see any fruit. Let's look at your previous questions...

"Why do most Christians regard Judas as an evil person and not a Saint?"
OK, so you do not believe your Savior who called him a devil?

"Am I the only one who believes that you can mix religion & evolution?"
Ahh, so God lied in Genesis and Jesus lied in Matthew 19:4 that God created them male and female?

You need to re-examine your foundation. I think you will find more sand than Rock.

Sometime when we look upon something that is obviously evil and putrid we just can't help but have the feelings of hatred and disgust for it.
