I like to take a nice walk, with my family, in the park after dinner. I also like that we occasionally play board games together, even though it rarely happens. I like to eat dinner with my family because of the often great conversations that comes when we sit together at the table. I like to watch movies and films with my family, mostly comedies, action, adventure type of films. I like to have a backyard BBQ cookout with my whole family there. I like planting in spring with my family. I like going to the beach or an amusement park with my family. I like giving out candies at halloween to little kids at my parents house, or accompany my young nephew trick and treat, I like decorating the Christmas tree and singing carols at Christmastime with my family. I like counting down at New Year's Eve with my whole extended family present. We'd throw lots of coins on the floor for good luck and the kids would scram for all of them! I like to help hide away the eggs so that my young nephews and nieces could look for them in Easter celebrations. I like to jump in the pool and swim with my family, well mostly my nephew as he always asks me to race him to the deep end of the pool, in summertime. I like to rake the leaves and carve out the pumpkins at fall. I like to do A LOT of things with my family because, even though they may not be the perfect family in the world, they are very precious to me and I'll cherish them forever.

One of the best activities that we ever did as a family turned out to be a great esteem builder for the kids. They were fighting a lot, and just didn't seem to appreciate each other.

Each family member was given five slips of paper with the name of each family member at the top.

The assignment was for each family member to write what they liked about the person whose name was on each slip of paper. Mom and Dad helped the younger ones write down their thoughts.

We then served a favorite desert, while Dad read each slip of paper about the different family members.

My kids are all grown up now, but still remember how good they felt that day hearing positive reinforcement about themselves from the different family members.

A little praise goes a long way, especially when it comes from those that are closest to you.

you're a lucky ignorant father my friend. the men in black (see the men in black movie 1 and 2) have a file on you and everyone in the entire world. they monitor you in every way possible and not possible. becareful what you say over the
phone because while you notice them they'll notice you back
and kidnap your kids. as for the family to-do's: you can talk about how the government is a traitor to its own country
and how it milks americans out of millions of dollars to fight
pointless wars that lastes longer than they had to from a president who's under-qualified and the fact that the shadow governemtn is secretly working to prevent human-alien hybrids. I know, I know. I'm just a crazy person you don't know.
did it ever occur to you i might be telling you the truth?
