FYI - People's Express' expansion to international destinations (plus acquisition of long-haul aircraft) was the final nail in the coffin... notice how they're not around anymore.
jetBlue's business model doesn't work with international destinations.

You wont see a Jetblue expansion to europe any time soon. With Virgin America starting up a low cost airline they will have another competitor. They would need to get a larger aircraft. Jetblue shows no signs in Boeings, so they would need a larger type airbus. Eventually, they will move to europe after they master main destinations in the US. To answer your question with they EVER, yes!

I don't see this happening anytime in the near future. JetBlue's first few years were very profitable but not so any more; the money they'd need to come up with to start operations to Europe is just too big an obstacle for them. Also, flying only one or two types of aircraft is one of their best ways of keeping costs down--- they do not need to stock as large an inventory of spare parts or employ as many mechanics, and I just don't see them radically changing their business structure just to service a few flights to Europe.

You could ask the same question about Southwest. They are competiting agains each other in the low-cost carrier.
They have many similarties as well as flying in the same cities or about (different airports, like LAX for Southwest / Long Beach for JetBlue, or Chicago Midway for Southwest / ORD for JetBlue)

They may, however, I think the rates to Europe would be comparative with other airlines. If you would think you would fly to Europe for $350 round trip in the summer, keep dreaming.

I think they still have a lot of the US uncovered. Europe would be too bold and too disastrous for them to attempt soon (although "ever" covers a long time)

hey Ice, they go to Aruba, SDQ and CUN.....
lotsa other folks doing that now (e.g. DL, US) wanting to milk the international cash cow. If they are smart, they will stick to their knitting and pull in the domestic dollar
