Well, humans did not come from the dirt either. Evolution is much more logical since it does not need to rely on metaphysics.

Heliocentricity isn't true?
I REFUSE to believe in Heliocentricity . It doesn't matter how much so-called evidence you present to me, I will never believe in it or even consider this lie to be anywhere close to the truth.
To many people out there are blinded by this lie.
My planet does not revolve around the sun. I don't know about you, but I have a higher opinion of myself.

It's amazing how much american christians are stuck in the 19th century. It's a total failure of their education system.
You're a disgrace to both your country and your religion.
Not accepting scientific facts because you're too vain?

Personally, I believe that God COULD HAVE created the world THROUGH the process of macro-evolution i.e. species evolving into completely different species, such as a dog turning into a whale over the process of millions of years. However, when you examine ALL of the evidence that's out there, and not just what's being FILTERED to you by the pro-evolution scientists, you'll see that scientifically and logically, evolution isn't really based on science, but on misguided and illogical theories. First of all, life has never came from non-life. It's never been tested, never been observed, and no evidence has ever been found to suggest otherwise. Second, the lack of a transitional fossil record is a huge blow in the face of the evolutionary theory. If macro-evolution took place, why aren't there fossils showing our half-dog, half-whale animal? For there to be millions and millions of years of evolution taking place and absolutely NO record of ANY animal EVER evolving into another species makes the evolutionists' logic come crumbling. In conclusion, Creationists believe in an evolutionary process called micro-evolution, which IS supported scientifically. Micro-evolution is a theory which suggests that God made animals able to adapt to changes in their surrounding enviroment. So don't let someone fool you when they say "You creationists don't believe in science." Theirs is the theory based on absolute faith and a stunning lack of evidence. :) God bless (:

I apologize in advance for the coming rant, but it is inevitable...
What makes you think you are SO much better than a gorilla??? What makes you think gorillas are so horrible?
I've seen this attitude from many people, and frankly, it disappoints me. Do you hate yourself so much that you will deny yourself the knowledge of science, and obvious fact, relying on your "divine intellect", or do you in fact just simply hate animals so much you can't stand the fact that you are, in fact, a "dirty, stinky animal" yourself? I simply do not understand this stubbornness. If we have such fundamental conflicts as these, we will never advance.
I've a better idea. Instead of wondering how we got where we are now, how about we look forward to where we are heading? We will never agree entirely, but why let such an unimportant issue cloud our outlook on the future?

I agree that we did not come from apes or the same family tree as apes. I believe God created us in His image from the dust of the earth. However, evolution is so true when it comes to changes over time. For example, ferns are small now when they used to be gigantic. People have larger lung capacity in higher elevations, darker skin closer to the equator, giraffes were of varying neck lengths until the ones whose necks were shorter could not reach food and died off. They did not get to pass on their genes. The long necked ones did and over time, only long necks were left. I hope this helps.

If you think that's what the theory of evolution says, then you've been misinformed.
You're right about one thing, though: Humans are not descended from gorillas. In fact, humans and the other primates are descended from a common ancestor, just as you and your cousins are all different even though you have the same grandparents.

Agreed. Evolution is nothing more than a modern narrative on how we could have gotten here through a mysterious creating force of nature that nobody can demonstrate or begin to prove. It is 99% atheistic philosophy, 1% science and its a ashame that the courts have ruled in favor of our children being indoctrinated with atheistic philosophy at young ages. This type of communist tactic does seem to be working given the status of teens today, the absence of hope, and if the kids arent jumping on their teachers and vice versa, they are performing school shootings to end their miserable pointless godless lives.
I think its going to take a nuclear device going off in a school before secularists wake up and see the impact that their philosophy is having on our younger generations that are already struggling for meaning and purpose in life.

If you have already made up your mind, and refuse to accept any other opinions, why bother to take up space on this or any other forum.
I also don't believe you evolved from apes, they seem to be far more advanced than you.

No, not really. Those species that did "evolve" beyond their habitat died out. The history of life on this planet is really a history of death. One of the best arguments against evolution as a mechanism is the existence of endangered species lists.
