I see coincidences as the way God speaks to us.

[Coincidence] is the noteworthy alignment of two or more events or circumstances without obvious causal connection.
The index of coincidence can be used to analyze whether two events are related. A coincidence does not prove a relationship, but related events may be expected to have a higher index of coincidence. From a statistical perspective, coincidences are inevitable and often less remarkable than they may appear intuitively.
Look at the [kjv] Bible at: Eccl 9:11, Shows [time] and [chance] happeneth to them all. Also, in the story about the good Samaritan in Luke 10:31, by [chance] there came down a certain...
Of course, God knows of no such thing as [chance],
whereas, he knows all things, but we have [chances] and [coincidences] and [choices] happening to us all the time :)

Yes, I do agree, but only to A degree,,,,
Coincidence seems unlikely to the body of Christ, (His Church and BRIDE :) Coincidence would IMPOSE upon the FACT that God Almighty is SOVEREIGN; which means that HE has the final word on what trials we are put to. I do not believe in coincidence; I believe more so in purposeful grace and mercy, and likewise correction and admonishment in the workings of HIM in our lives.
Its almost like saying "LUCK"....there is no such thing to a child of GOD, there can't be such a concept!
God Bless YOU!

Well, I can't say that I believe in coincidences as they are typically understood.
And I have to think about this description of it, before I agree.

Obviously, what I say here is probably not going to change anyone's mind, so I'll just state my personal belief. I believe that God has a reason and a purpose for everything and that nothing happens, as we would sometimes say, by chance.

Another negative effect of religion - it makes people unable to think clearly about very simple matters.
"believe in" coincidences"?
Two dice have a 1/6 chance of showing the same number. Three dice have a 1/36 chance. When it happens, it happens; it's random. It does not mean any gods exist.

Some would say that there are no coincidences, that you asked for something to happen or not happen subconciously. Like the law of attraction. I believe that if I am a positive, happy person I am going to draw that same thing to me. Hope that helps, some(im a little sleepy)...

No, I believe in Cause, Effect and Randomness. Coincidences are the results of all three elements in play at the same time.

If it's purposeful, it isn't coincidence.
Life isn't predestined, nor is it a random series of events. It's somewhere in between (my viewpoint, anyway).
I think events I perceive as coincidences are the universe telling me I'm doing the dance.

I'm open enough to accept that some 'coincidences' are driven by Purpose, but I'm realistic enough to deny that 'everything happens for a reason'.
