Because God said so. God said it. That settles it.
To me it is also unnatural but it is a sign of our sinful nature and our own human ungodliness.

I don't think about it that way. No more than I think Heterosexuality is "right"... as there are plenty of circumstances that people will tell you that heterosexuality is wrong... the sex act itself. Since that is how many seem to define Homosexuality, the sex act itself, it's only fair to define Heterosexuality the same way. Though, I don't believe it's the sex act itself that determines your sexuality... it's which gender you are attracted to. Many will tell you that having sex before marriage is wrong... even heterosexual sex is wrong in this case, according to them. Adultery, still heterosexual sex, is wrong according to them. So with that, I would have to say it's how one is doing it that determines whether or not it's wrong. Promiscuity, sleeping around with several partners, is not something I recommend for anyone today... especially now. Rape, no matter who is doing it, is wrong. It doesn't matter which team you're playing on. But I wouldn't say the love one person has for another is wrong, even if it isn't the type of love I have. =>

It's neither right nor wrong, it's the same as being heterosexual. It's not a choice, because straight people didn't choose to be straight either.
I don't see how homosexuality can be such a big an issue, when things like murder and lying, which are also sins according to the Bible, seem to be a much, much bigger problem.

This is an issue that runs very deep with me. I'm gay but I'm also a Christian. Setting aside all the emotion and straw man arguments, it very literally reduces to one single issue. The terms "right" and "wrong" are moral terms and assume a moral standard exists. assuming that we have common ground on that point, the logical next step is that there is a moral law giver as well (and I'm not him). therefore, we should find out who that moral law giver is, and what He thinks; otherwise, we only wave our opinions back and forth with no resolution. All of humanity throughout all of time seems to have a common sense of what is right and wrong. some areas of morality have been debated heavily, but it is striking how uniform the basic sense of morality has been for most peoples, even spanning thousands of years, from primitive tribes to highly advanced civilizations. this points to the conclusion that our sense of morality has a common origin. But what is there is look to when we face these terrible questions that seem to divide us as a people so deeply? I believe that the Bible shows us a moral law giver. It is his determination that creates the true moral standard. We can live by our own rules, but God will ultimately use his moral standard to evaluate us, not our ever-changing ones.

I don't think it's either right or wrong it's just who you are. i don't see why some people make such a big deal about it. some stupid person who claims that homosexuality is immoral and wrong and is just insanely obsessed with the idea has some serious issues. And who asked them to be part of it it's none of their buisness. homosexuality is something that we can not change anyway and why bother it is harming anyone. Christian homophobes and religious people should watch this video. (Not to offend anyone or change people's beilefes).

Homosexuality in itself is not wrong. Now the homosexual sex act is obscene to the max because it is used only to satisfy our basest human instincts.

Because it's not Gods intent. God took what was from Adam and made Eve...when they are brought back to together in marriage they become one person again. Neither God nor I are against homosexuals but we are against the act and believe a person can be healed and delivered from such a lifestyle

I agree with cranky and irish.
No one asks if heterosexuality is right or wrong. Why should homosexuality be treated any differently?

it is wrong because since the beginning and until the end everything is meant to have an equal. just like ions, or magnets. 1+1=1. sex, in everything....male and female, plants, animals, humans.....and if you see the problem (1+1=1) you will also see that there is a result, the two needed charges come together and form another....the required charges are the opposing charges, in this case male and female, man and woman.

Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve, lol
Really I mind my business about it if I see or know folks, but personally God created a man and a women and a marriage is between the three mentioned above, God + Man+ Woman. Check the bible, and really think about this,
umm if it was right why can't they naturally reproduce?
