I live in a real world and I may not agree with everything everyone doses but as long as he dose his jobs right and follows all the the same rules as everyone then no one should be fired for any reason.

One must realize an employer can fire you for any reason he wants and not have to give an explanation. I think it is wrong. I was fired from a job about 6 years ago because I called out due to a family emergency, my husband had gone into respiratory arrest and was at deaths door. I was fired the next day. I talked to many lawyers and they told me unless I had actually proof that the reason I was fired was because of my reason as stated above on my dismissal papers, there was nothing I could do. No it is not fair to anyone to be fired for reasons such as gender or race or sexuality, but until the labor laws are rewritten to protect the employee instead of the corporations this is what we are in for.

Rainbow, if you read some history, you'll find the idea of -not- firing a gay person because he or she is gay is a -very- recent development.
If it is that kind of bigotry you want to escape, come to Canada. Not that we don't have our bigots, but our government is a good deal more progessive when it comes to this sort of thing (such as allowing gay marriages).

How does this come back to Chritianity? Homosexuality is a sin...one that has to be handled between the sinner and Jesus like any other...however its completely wrong to hate a person for their sin...you have to hate the sin not the sinner

That is discrimination, but one doesn't need to generalize, we all do not think that. I think that having sex based on homosexuality is wrong, but there is no need to fire a man for it.
