Historically [and currently..], what are the worst crimes commited in the name of religion, particularly the many and varied christian religions.

Documented with no conjecture if possible, as we don't want to sink to the level of the christian mindset.

Hopefully these answers will plant the seed of sentient thought in the minds of those who are in denial, or who are ignorant/misinformed of the true history of the deity worship group they adhere to.
Thanks

Those who do not believe the existence of God are more prone to do criminal worse crimes. Although they are living in a Christian community, it does not mean to say that he is a true christian but in himself he is not connected in any religion and want to go against God. He is on the wrong path in following the way to heaven. He prefer to do bad things than good things.

He is like the person here that he is philosophizing God's ab ility and knowledge but actually ignorant about God and know more about evil things .

This his example:
Mat 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Mat 24:25 Behold, I have told you before.
Mat 24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

I once was a Christian, but now I consider myself an agnostic. I would agree with you that Christianity has much blood on its hands.

However, it seems that you're really angry with a lot of people. This will hurt you in your search for the truth.

Remember Luke Skywalker? The Force (or in this case, logic) can be used for many good things, but beware of using it to "put others in the wrong."

I know exactly how you feel. I understand how ridiculous Christianity can appear sometimes. But be objective and try to understand things from their perspective. In their eyes, you've rejected God, which is far more serious to them than the great mistakes of the Crusades.

Christians will respect you more and will listen to your opinions if you tell them, "This issue bothers me...can we look at it?" rather than "The Christian mindset is absurd...let me show you the error of your ways."

I tried the 2nd approach for years...and got nowhere.

Hope this helps!

Incorrect conclusion. The crusades,an such weren't truly in the name of religion. But power.Like the new intellectualism. They have a set dogma. They believe it is true. Then contradict themselves later. An in the mean time bullying others into their beliefs.Sort of like a cultural warfare.Through the centuries. The more things change. The more they stay the same.
