I don't drive but I am a full-time barefooter and I know it's NOT illegal to drive barefoot in ANY US STATE! Please people, don't spread this myth... many people believe it, sometimes even cops will say it is, but it's simply not true. See source for proof. Also some cops may try to say it's careless or reckless driving, but the second & third link should show that doesn't hold true either, and shouldn't hold up in court.

Yes! comfort and relaxation.
I've been told thet you can get a ticket 4 driving barefoot, because your could accidently poke your foot into a sticker, which just so happened to be in your vehicle, and it could cause you to wreck. Don't know if true.

I did, because I bought new flip flops with the little sting that goes through the toes and it was driving me nuts.

Yes i did during my lesson. I wanted to stretch my toes and get some air. I wanted to get my feet moving, hey spring's here so lets take the advantage of it!
