ok so me and my ex spent this weekend together, we arent trying to get back together as a couple, we're just trying to be friends for now and if anything happens so be it. well we both agreed that we'd be casual about the whole thing, i dont call him everyday and he doesnt call me everyday because thats one reason why we broke up bc he felt like i was smothering him. so he added me back to his myspace or whatever, and i have guys on my myspace and he has girls on his. well i saw that he was online and i sent him a message, and he told me that i couldnt be smothering him all the time and that i wasnt serious about him anyway bc i had a bunch of guys leaving me comments! thats the first time i tried to contact him since we hung out this weekend! how is that smothering him? dont friends message each other? we broke up in oct and we've only seen each other maybe 5 times since oct ... and this weekend was the first time we had hung out as friends. whats his deal? HELP!!

(sigh) well here goes. Its called wanting you when he wants. You see, you have contacts, he has contacts. It's normal and its fine, FOR him see. He's okay with hanging out with you when its convinient for him but only then. Girls can message him but, if guys message you it means you're moving on. Oh wait, thats the point. He says you're smothering him to Convince Himself you're still clinging on when in reality, you're getting over him; aaaand, that's exactly what you should do. If you really want him back (and let's hope you're smarter than that) be honest and upfront with him. My opinion, its always going to be a relationship of double standards on his end, and somehow, I get the feeling you can do better. capisce? Now smile and go do better!!! : )

ok...he sounds like he is either a real jerk or he is jealous...im leaning toward the jealous part. he shouldnt be like that just because a few guys leave comments on your myspace. if he was serious about you two becoming friends again, he wouldnt be doing this to you. im going through the same thing almost! it really isnt worth your time if he is going to be a jerk. i hope you can figure it out.

Let it go. If he feels, that's smothering, then just ignore when you see he's online. Sometimes trying to figure out what someone else is thinking or feeling will make you crazy. Forget him and his hang-ups.
