Need Italian Translation for Wedding?

I know this is alot to ask, but I want to use this excerpt of Plato’s synopsis translated into Italian for my wedding invitation and program. Any help would be graciously appreciated:


We pass our whole lives together, desiring that we should be melted into one, to spend our lives as one person instead of two, and so that after our death there will be one departed soul instead of two; this is the very expression of our ancient need. And the reason is that human nature was originally one and we were a whole, and the desire and pursuit of the whole is called Love.

I'm giving you a version in standard Italian, respecting Plato's text, but not a strict literal translation since original Greek translated into English and then retranslated into Italian could sound really weird.

"Passeremo insieme le nostre vite, con l'augurio che si possino fondere in una sola, in modo da trascorrere la nostra esistenza come fossimo una sola persona anzichè due e cosicchè alla nostra morte ci sia la dipartita di un'unica anima; questa è la perfetta espressione del nostro antico bisogno. Ed il motivo è che l'umana natura era in origine solamente una, che noi eravamo un tutt'uno e che il desiderio e la ricerca dell'unione si chiama AMORE".

Passiamo insieme le nostre vite intere, volendo che dovremmo essere fusi in una, per spendere le nostre vite come una persona anziché due ed in modo che dopo che la nostra morte là sia un'anima partita anziché due; ciò è l'espressione stessa del nostro bisogno antico. Ed il motivo è che la natura umana era originalmente una ed eravamo un tutto ed il desiderio e l'inseguimento del tutto è denominato. Amore

Passiamo i nostri viveri di intero, desiderando insieme che dovremmo essere fusi in un, spendere i nostri viveri come una persona invece di due, ed in modo che dopo che la nostra morte ci sarà un'anima partita invece di due; questo è la molto espressione del nostro bisogno antico.
